If you are alone after your 60,, does life end,, and not only talking about relationships. I live alone, and don't like it,, I still work hard everyone, but I get tired of being ask to go along, (the fifthwheel), just because someone feels sorry for me being alone... is this what we all have to look forewad too ?

You have the wrong attitude. I am 59 years old and live alone, and don't like it, but I do not complain. You sound as if you are walking around feeling sorry for yourself, which might be why you are asked to come along as a fifth wheel. Don't let others know you are miserable. I am getting off this thread .... too many people with the wrong attitude. You guys who are giving up need to know that this is not the way to go  .

Mikey, keep lookin , there r lots of gals just waiting for a great guy to come along. Smile a lot , be polite, open doors for the females, we like that ,down here anyhow, its impressive. Just try to be friendly and helpful . Go places where there r lots of females. Get a job sacking groceries, u will meet lots of gals there. Do some volunteer work,help the less fortunate. There r usually lots of "less fortunate " females.
