So naughty, Gal! It's just like riding a bike ... or so I've heard. (Like you, I also meant a horse! )

Hey, 2bluiz! And sadly, he is closer to my daughter's age than mine so I won't even line up!
Most of it is now "so I've heard". Which reminds me - wanna buy my bike? can't remember how to ride it....

Either.

Hey, Wise! Do you mean you're still on here for the buy & sell possibilities??

Thanks for your offer FR, Unless the bike is one from the '50s, I couldn't handle all the speeds (think I was lost after 3 speed bikes)

Hello, Wisediva! Always nice to have you join in!

2bluiz: You jest, but my bike is actually NO speeds, an old Baycrest.....I'm guessing at least as far back as the 50's!

do you remember roller skates? I LOVED my roller skates. And they had 4 wheels, not those dangerous 2 wheel things!
And a hula hoop. I had a hula hoop I could do many tricks with.
Now, I can't get one around myself. They must be making them a lot smaller these days....yeah, yeah, that's it!

(edited for typo only)

Thanks so much for the compliment, Wise! If it weren't for us women meeting up here on AB Chat, I wouldn't even bother with DH. Well, perhaps that's a wee bit of a lie as I do enjoy exchanging msgs with a fellow from Delta, BC.

Hey FR, I'd probably do better on your old bike than I do walking sometimes! And yes, I remember roller skates. Mine were from the days before they were even wheels on 'boots'. Just a metal device you could adjust to your shoe size & then use a 'key' to tighten the clamps to your shoe.

Hula hoops? What fun they were! I've often thought what a good form of exercise they'd be for this old body. But thinking is as far as it's gone.

Editted for spelling of Hoola ..... oops, HULA!
