This guy seems to good to be true. I laughed, I cried. We talked till morning. He even fell asleep on the other end. He was so sweet. I want the weekend to go perfect. Some friends are saying 2 hotel rooms, 2 beds, what do you think? I just want it to be special, because he sure seems it.

i agree with your friends.remember they are alot of predators on the internet i would take a friend or mace or something other thsn going by yourself.i wish you the best but if he cares about you like he says then he will understand about bringing a friend.good luck.panama

Webcam first, background check second, leave an itinerary with friends and family. Call them to check in at specified times. 2 rooms if you aren't completely comfortable with him and the fact you posted this means you have some doubt. Also, if it doesn't feel right as soon as you meet him then get back on the plane.

Don't let him leave his shit there. He is responsible for where he's sleeping.
You got yourself covered, safety first.
Let him know, people know where you are. Talk on the phone in front of him, with them.

While you have made your own decision, I hope you have thought this thru. he maybe a silver tongued devil or he may be the one who can change your outlook on men. but you should let someone know where you are goingand who with. First things first ask for his full name. ask him for his i.d (with photo). If he did not lie about his name talk with him where you meet him (in a public place). If everything is going well take the next step. Make sure the plans don't change suddenly. if you are getting along enjoy your weekend. but be careful he may just sweep you off your feet and send you back with your feet on cloud nine.

Everyone gave you some great advice...agree with them all! I just want to add ..if I were to meet someone for the first time in a different city, I would stay at a hotel different from the one he is staying at. If all goes well...fine...if not, you have the safety of being where he cannot locate you. Please remember to protect yourself!!

plus...how long have u been communicating? if for a long time you probably have a good feel for the meet up or you wouldn't be meeting,just b carefull!!!!!!

I am not photogenic either! He took those shots at the airport, didn't like the ones I had. Looked past me as I met him... Gave me a great grab from behind! 
I need a pic, to believe it's a real person in my mind...knowing the pic may be fake.

Thanks everyone for the great advice. Lots to think about. Stellablue: I like the idea of 2 rooms because I like have my own key and control over the situation, but all honesty after paying for the flight and Christmas around the corner it doesn't seem economical for me. Crazycajun: I will tell a friend where I am going, who the person is, and if I get an wrong feeling about something I'll be back on that plane. Geo13: As you put it, He may send me back with my feet on cloud nine - and put my faith back in men is what I am hoping for. Thats why I find myself wanting to take the risk.
