As I mentioned before, I'd love to go!! I just don't know about leaving my baby..what I do what to let ya'll know is that I have an "abandoned" camper in Manns Choice, PA. I haven't used it in a few years, just because its not so baby proofed. But its good for sleeping, the fridge works, the stove and sink works. If anyone can go and haul it they are free to use it. I've kind of left it for dead.

I'm calling in favors from anyone I can get to help me out at the kitchen. Have already traded one guy for his friday to deliver for mine. Paying the maintenance guy at the firehall to mop my kitchen floor that day. Going to make phone calls to all the rest of the drivers that work that day to make sure they are coming. I have been at that job for 5 years without a vacation so its time they pay me back. God knows I cover their butts more than enough, sometimes delivering 2 routes when someone decides to call off or not show up. NOw it's my turn to enjoy life.

I've never been to one of these things... sounds like fun but is really short notice for me (I just got an invite). Would like to see what I can do! I love that area, too... very pretty. So... how does this work? (I've read all the threads) When I camp within my family (I have a huge family), we arrange it so we are all in the same area, together - I haven't seen any posts like that? That leads me to beleive that everyone will be spread out throughout the whole camp ground (?) so then how do we all hook up later?
OK... So I've told you, I've never done one of these meet and greets!
I have a two-room tent and camping equipment, but I don't know how to set up the tent (I never had to do it - and the directions are gone); therefore, I would need a place to lay my weary head!

wow getti-up,i';ll bring the toy haller with the harley in it,It sleeps 2 maybe 10 but would be crowded, I rode snowmobile up in the grand canyon,saw it in the fall and ya even flew over it, dam i was once a pilot,for real,lmao,,looking foreard to trying my camping trailer/toy haller out,will bring all i can for mountain pies etc,,,,even wood for the fire,who's tending the fire,hhmmm!!!!!!!lol....got smile faces on the calened allready,logging the day off to,nice to be your own boss,,,,,lets think sunshine for this one,everyone be safe and enjoy,looking foreward to chilling the weekend away with everyone,,,whos up for a ride on rt 6 on the harley,hhhmmmmm cya soon laters JR

Wow! You all sound like a great group and the weekend sounds like fun. Never camped
on the ground (no camper anymore). Are there any gals with campers who would like a
roomie? I have cooked many times over a fire at civil war camp and have a few things
left that weren't sold - will have to take inventory. I could bring food and help cook.

1 really cool grate to go over the fire, will hold a couple of pots
1 8c. coffee pot
1 very large enamel cook pot
3 cast iron pots 16qt, 8qt, 4qt
1 battery operated lantern
1 big cast iron frying pan
1 electric griddle fits 8 slices french toast
1 big electric roaster fits 2 large hams or 1 huge turkey or a whole lot of chili
assorted long handled cooking utensils
3 gizmos to make beer steamed chicken
2 sleeping bags
and other stuff..God bless my daughter in law.
