When I look at her friends and they're all young guys with their shirts off and flexing their muscles. I'm obviously not her type.
Ability to write is important. I'm not an English teacher or anything, but I hate having to decipher what she's trying to say.
It seems like a lot of women have a very narrow idea of what their ideal man would be like, and that's a turnoff because I usually don't fit the profile.

The cliche about proving that all men aren't the same....
- as if all guys were somehow bad. And that they are looking for a french fry in a batch of onion rings. Its your fault you choose the bad boy/crimminal. Date the nice safe guy.

-they both show thst the person is uneducated and maybe rude. Caps=yelling.
The No sex/not here for sex.

If they claim to be a lady...yea right. Most women have no clue what a lady is.therefore when they claim they want a gentleman they have no idea what that is either.
If all their pics are at a bar
If their words are broken english
And my personal favorite when they say they are just looking.

The basic things I look for is that her religious and political views align with mine, she's a non-smoker and preferably no kids. DH doesn't have the "Want kids?" section, but on sites like PoF, if they have "undecided" or "prefer not to say" shown, I won't even waste my time. I mean, seriously, if you're between 27-35, you damn well better know if you want kids or not.
As far as red flags... I like to check out what they say on the forums. You can get a good feel for their maturity level, personality, etc. If I see a bunch of forum drama, that's a red flag. If drama seems to find them on the forums, it probably rents a room in their real lives.
Friends. If I see a girl's friends list and she's got a bunch of thuggy looking folks in there, I'm out. You can tell a lot of one's character by the company they keep.

Why?

Terms that spell out what kind of guy they're looking for. Short of echoing their description, ya can't really convey that in a message.
Family is important to me. Usually means that any sort of plans you make had better not interfear with family doings.
Love to travel. Got deep pockets?
Photos of the lady in question with 43 of her closest friends in the picture. A. Which one are you? B. Can you possibly do something without them?
Riding Harleys. To me, it means that I'm not a real motorcyclist. My 45 years behind the bars counts for nothing. Oh, and heaven forbid that I ask you to wear a helmet.

Means she wants to be given guarantees and for the man to commit first. If she is that hurt and controlling does she honestly believe a man is going to wait months down the road before she says "We been friend now for months lets have sex"
A guy would have to be a real sap to fall for a woman like that....

Honestly, the mere fact that she's on here is a red-flag.
I can be reasonably assured that any woman on a website with hookup in the URL has been riding the c*ck-carousel. I don't use DH for meeting women - only for watching train-wrecks.
Maybe there's one or two good girls on the site, but why would I look for a grain of sugar in a mountain of salt?

Yup, it seems odd that a high class woman who could have all she ever wanted at the snap of her fingers and has servants to do all the little womanly chores around the house so she has plenty of tine to run her little kingdom would find her self on a free dating sight looking for a man with super human qualitys and a huge bank account,
And use the ball breaker my kids come first,
How about we remember when we were growing up and the kids came after the husband and wife and maybe even the needs of the dog,
Jk about the dog but really they want a lasting marriage and the man has to take a back seat to her kid?
I guess I got it all wrong when I figured men and women to be equals and that it took two to have a healthy relationship,

1. No photos at all. (fake or ugly)
2. If she smokes. (I'm allergic to tobacco) 
3. If she has no information or "ask me." (not sincere or real)
4. Her photos are professional supermodel/porn quality. (proof of a fake profile)
5. "God-fearing" (major turn off) 
6. If she's morbidly obese. (not into BBW)
7. If she's completely unattractive. (gotta have some attraction to be worth it)
8. Her photos show multiple people and she doesn't specify which person she is. 
9. Her photos only show her in bars with a drink in her hand. (alcoholic?)
10. She has her email address in her profile or a link to an obvious spam website.
Is 10 enough?

Ladies... Never assume all men are too stupid to not see what many women actually are saying in their profiles...
I have a curious mind so therefore I need to be continually taking in new information & exploring the world around me.
actually, what her subconscious is saying is, "I am not altogether unlike a helpless infant".... this is straight up Freudian shit.
I am independent, adventurous & spontaneous, yet responsible.
Her subconscious is still speaking.
This is projection. She is stating what she desires in a man.
This is the 3rd country that I have lived in...travel has taught me that people are the same & have similar needs no matter where they live.
Read: I like to travel. You should enjoy travel as well. And you should be able to pay for it. Because remember, y'know, I'm a helpless infant who soaks up new information while exploring the world around me... so if you dance with me, you need to know up front that I'm a travel hound.
I am easy & fun to travel with...
This is just hammering the point home that she likes to travel and you'll be expected to travel with her...
One way or the other, the man will be paying at least for himself and, more likely, for her too...

All of these new terms for being overweight. Fluffy, curvy, comfortable, puffy, soft, BBW, a few extra pounds, some extra baggage. Then, within the same profile that they are great cooks, foodies, love to go out to eat, or likes exotic food.

The reason the bottom of the barrel think they are princesses is because the get all the attention and think they are. The only way to stop this is to ignore them until they get their act together and become a decent woman worthy of that attention.
