WOW, really? 189lbs in 12 months! I've had it done n have lost 145 n its been 11 mos. I'm super excited! But I lost a 100 on my own first, n still have a 120 to go. So you look really good. How long has it been n how much have you lost all together?

I am amazed at all the weight that had been lost, wow. But if you can only eat a few bites how do you get the nutrition you need?

I had it 10 weeks ago. I weighed 352 I have lost 84 lbs as of today. I'm already SO much healthier.

I'm against weight loss surgery. As someone who was a month away from having it done, I was too afraid of the complications, too aware of the ones who died from it...and honestly, I like food too much to have a stomach the size of a small egg. I lost 203 lbs the hard way, eating less and exercising my a** off. Took 4 years, but I know I made the right choice wimping out of surgery. Knowing my bad karma, I would've had the surgery and died from starvation somehow. I'm part of the "be careful what you wish for" crowd.

I'm currently going through the process of getting my insurance to approve gastric bypass. I have to be on a Dr supervised diet for 6 months I'm now in my third month of dieting and have list 12 pounds.

I had Gastric Bypass open surgery in March of this year. I'm down 88 pounds...Not as much as i want to be down but i'm having some complications...I also have a very large scar. Having more troubles than i'd like to be having but i'm working through them with my doctors and support groups...just wish i'd be losing more weight..It'll be another year and a half till i can talk about having the skin removal surgery...

 voodoogirl ~~~ Way to go!
Keep up the good spirits and maintain your protein levels ... Splenda instead of processed sugars (which cause the dumping syndrome) ... and keep a watch on your iron levels ................... when you are ready for the skin removal be sure you have the breast straps shortened, too, and perk those girls back up.
