been there and done that!!!! Girl it gets better and easier.I know it seems like a long time before the kids are grown but once they are then you will really be lonley.The empty nest syndrome.You will have a life of your own sooner or later.So enjoy what you have now because you will miss it oone day.However, just a nice soak in hot tub helps

I know what you mean...........work work and then any other free time is spent with my daughter - for 12 years now. Maybe that's why I've only had 4 dates in 12 years. But I think it will payoff in the end... when they are all grown and they are good adults. Not that I havent felt like being a bar wh*re every now and again......j/k

I've been told that God doesnt give me more than I can handle.. I sometimes doubt that when I'm feeling overwhelmed , when everything gets piled up and I can't see the light through the window.
You're doin fine, luvin..just hang in there..its got to be the holidays..while cheerful for those who have everything they ever wanted..for those of us still longing for something, someone to share our lives with, it can be a sadly depressing time.. Every time I hear jingle bells over the p.a. at work..I want to scream( but that may be because I'm Jewish too..LOL) .
Just another day to be happily above ground..grateful for the blessings I do have and lookin toward a happier future.

I just wish I could have twenty minutes to myself, with someone who cared about me.....
Is that to much to ask?
I dunno. I have always wanted kids. My fun time always includes them. My kids, are why I live.
Now some idiots say that my farming lifestyle is not "spending time" wiht my kids. I say BULLSHIT! We talk about school while we are stacking firewood. We joke, and laugh togeher while we are sitting around the evaporator boiling maple suryp. We discuss current events while repairing farm equipment.
My kids arent on the street, or at the mall raising hell.
I dunno. Mabey I dont see what you are saying.

I know for a fact what you are going thru, I raised my boys alone for a long time, a good hot bubble bath, a candle and a bottle of brandy every now and then helps, now mine have cars and girlfriends and it's mom time, you will make it sweetie, put the kids first and you will reap the rewards. But take a few minutes for yourself when they go to bed, and just relax.
YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!
