No matter how many hours you work, no matter how much you give, its just never enough? Am I just being a big fat whiner, or is just a single mother thing?
I work 40-50 hours a week, when Im not working Im trying to spend time with my two young children, GOD FORBID I should want/need any time of personal time/life for myself....
I dunno. Maybe I just need to go eat worms. That or take a xanax.....
Merry Freaking Christmas......
I just wish I could have twenty minutes to myself, with someone who cared about me.....
Is that to much to ask?

Yeah, Luvin..i feel your pain! I've been working alot of long hours too. Got off work late AGAIN today...we'd gotten 4-5" of snow today so had to go around a bunch of accidents on my route home. Guess there's a reason i had to work late! I'd rather make money then fix my car!
I can't even find the time to get enough sleep. I love Christmas but i hate all the extra's i have to do and I am always the one who looses...no sleep, no time to just relax..it sucks!
But being on here helps! A hug from me cuz I think you're doing great!

I hope you ladies get what you want for Christmas and then some. As for being a single mom and all that goes with it, my hat's off to you'll. (I know it's on in the picture, but you know what I mean, LOL). Have a Super Duper Great and Fantastic Christmas.
Was that over the top? Oh well, have a blast ladies.

Being a single mother is really tough. I'm sure that your kids come first, but Mom needs to find some time for herself. My daughter was a single mom, and was killed Memorial Day weekend 2 years ago and the cause was too much Xanax, left three children, so PLEASE DON'T DO THE XANAX, your children need you. I know that this can be hard for you to do, but if you have some one who could watch them so that you could go out (you know what I mean by saying this, I'm trying to give you some fatherly advice here)would probably do you a world of good. Being a Mom is a never ending battle, over the years I have worked with many moms and they have had the same issues as you have.

Luvin, short of a mate to take the boys and give u some space, it is going to be that way for a little while. However, got some tricks that will help. Buy lego's! I had 4 boys and one girl and everybody played with Legos. If they get hooked, they will be occupied for hours. The other trick is the Readers digest. Subscribe to that and read them the jokes. Very soon they will start reading the jokes by themselves and the articles too. A sneaky way to get them to read, but also gets u a little peace & quiet. And finally, have a very blessed Merry Christmas!

its just stress hun, HUGSSSS... I know where you are coming from. I may not be as busy as you, and lord knows I don't know how you do it, but YES you are entitled to a little you-time. Hope you find some soon, you could really use it with how busy you are.

luvin. wish I could just babysit your kids for one day so you could have a day to yourself. Take a personal day from work. Get a parent or someone to watch the kids and use that time to have some alone time. You need time to clear your mind and get your priorities in order. Good luck to you.

I used to go in the bathroom and lock the door and tell the kids I using the bathroom, as I secretly read the newspaper. It worked for me. Jack Daniels seems to work better than Xanax too!
