natruel Kissimmee, FL age: 43	no not bow down to my god, remember he is your god too, and not only that but it is a chose of yours if you feel that he is worth you bowing to,the only reason i looked up some scriptures is because, in order for me to respond to a topic, i really would like for us all to at least know what we are talking about, by the way you don't have to look up the scriptures once again its by chose and plus if reading takes to long ,they also have it on tape, and don't include everyone to the negative you found in my answer, i am sure someone could use a quick and easy way or a little help. but thank you for even noticing that it did come out of the bible.... remember i said it was my thinking or opinion

I am a Christian, and I belive in God, but I also belive that in the end every knee shall bow and every tongue confess that he is the true God. Does this make it true? No it makes it my belief. But in the same thought if it is the truth as I belive it is then my God is everyone on this planets God and just because someone doesn't belive in him does not mean that he does not belive in them, and does not mean that he is not their God. If there is only one god of this world and he is in fact the only God then he is everyones God. If there is another god in this world that I do not belive in he is still my god, and in the end I will find out I was wrong and I had the wrong god. Even though I do not belive in another god if there I am wrong then I still ahve a god, just not the one I thought I had. There is no reason to get upset about somone else having opinions about what they belive,a nd if they believe in the Bible then that is where they will get their ideas and belifs from. Just as I would not blast someone for quoting the Koran ( probably the wrong spelling of it) I would expect not to be blasted if I got my quotes out fo the Sunday funny paper from the local newpaper or any other refrence. Just because someone comes in and quotes from a source you do not belive in give you or anyone else no right to call them names and chastise them. You either chose to take their words with a grain of salt, or discount them, or actually take time to read what they are talking about. I don't have a copy of any other religious transcripts, but I will be more then happy to read anyone elses belifs no matter where they get them from. If for nothing else it is said the best weapon against the enemy is to know the enemy, and if you read the Bible you can at least combat as you put it Bible Thumpers at their own game as opposed to making yourself look slose-minded to anyone elses beliefs. shilowsmom Beloit, WI age: 52	Religion has been a huge topic in our family. My mother was raised a strict catholic, converted to Moravian in her adult life. My sister is somewhere in between Buddist/Christian/and Wiccan,(since she couldnt find one that represented her beleifs she created her own). I myself have studied with several religions and have found that so many claim the "truth" if you will, that I chose to stop looking at "religions" and to focus on "my beleifs", I beleive that if you do your best in this life, be fair to others, respect "ALL" life, help those who are willing to help themselves, love as you want to be loved, who really cares what the "name" of your beleif is. Weather it is your "higher power", "all that is", "jehovah", "buddah", "the God or the Goddess", what ever... its the message. I personally feel that the Path of the Wiccan, is closest to my beleifs. JMHO

wolfy9459 Dayton, OH age: 45	Natural I'm not mad. I just don't believe as you do. I will not say that a god I believe in is your god. So why do so many believers in the "one" god do so? This thread was started to discuss paganism not christism. But by all means say what you want, as I know I will. But don't accuse me of being mad because I don't agree with you. To come in to a thread about paganism and post scripture only invites someone to disagree with you. Which is all I was doing. So if you think I'm mad (not right in the head) because I don't agree with you. Thats on you. These forums and threads are for discussion and all are aloud to post what they think or feel. BTW its not that reading your scirptures would take to long to read, I have read them all before. I could post more scripture than you could read in one day to prove why I don't believe in your god. But what would that prove? That I know the bible very well? Would it change your thoughts on god? I have posted them all before click on see all my posts and read them if you like.
