I think that the reason many people do not have dates from here is their own fears. If you want to meet someone close - then do a search for someone close.
I agree that the security is an issue for us females, more than you guys.
If someone does not want to meet in a public place for a first "blind" date- then their intentions are not necessarily cool.
I think the best thing to do to get a date is to ask the person you have chatted with whether or not they want to meet. If you don't ask - you don't know.
As for me?? I've been asked on dates from here - some I have taken and some I have not - it all depends on the connection from the discussions.
...but... remember what they say, "you get what you paid for"..we pay nothing for this site..so we can expect nothing..anything else would be gravy!
So...go out and enjoy yourselves!!!

I actually have meet afew guys on here. One had the wrong impression of me...you know the divorced woman theory. One was a very nice guy but we just didnt click. And one I have gone out with a couple times. So far we are just friends, but thats what I am looking for right now.

I've had 2 dates from this site..and I know in my heart that the 3 time's a charm...reserved my plane tickets last night...date # 3 is just 5 long weeks away...sigh..

o Haven't even had any emails or winks or whatever gets things started. What is it, I'm too old, too fat? I even paid eHarmony for 3 months and no takers. A waste of money so that is why I am here. At least I am not loosing money for not getting to talk to anyone.

I feel you. But, this is a dating site right? I mean, this is why people are suppose to be here right? So if you are not doing that, then WTF. Free or not. I believe that some things in life are suppose to be free. Like asking someone with mutual feelings to meet somewhere and see if it can go to the next level. FREE taking them out on a date, priceless

I've only had one but he was a great guy so I thought. I agreed to meet him after chatting and talking on the phone for a few weeks, we hit off pretty good we had alot in common enjoyed the same things, we ended hanging out for alittle over a month then he moved away. But the night before he moved away we went out and he was hitting on my friend right in front me and had her take him home so I never really got to say good-bye. Are there any good guys left or is it me?

I have had one from here..he is still a good friend, but lives in O town,
another just recently from POF, no real connection, but is it ALL good.
Lighten up ppl...it is all in fun so...IF it happens down the line...good!
Some ppl just cannot be friends...me...I'll be your friend, no matter,
cuz that's just me!
