hey ya'll i live in rock springs quite possibly the worst town in wyoming  neways i'm board and cant find any local chat rooms so here i am. so i work down at the closest thing to a club that we have... still lame though.... i work 4 days a week and have my kid 3 days a week so i dont get much time to go out and meet ppl and everyone i used to hang with turned out to be backstabbing bastards hmm what else do you expect from R.S. so yeah lets make this tread a hopin one!!!!   haha beer and dancing banannas what else does one need.....

I have been in Glenrock Wyoming for almost seven years and I really like it here. Douglas is 20 miles one way and Casper is 20 miles the other way. I have heard that Rock Springs is one of the worst places in Wyoming, right up there with Wheatland. I moved here from San Antonio, Texas got tired of not even able to get a job because I was not mexican and employers would say it to your face that they could only hire mexicans that sucked. Good luck guy in your search, there seems to not be much to pick from here in Wyoming.

Alot of stuff to do in Wyoming, especially if you like the outdoors. One of the big pluses is you seldom feel like the crowd is going to over run you.

I use to live in RS.. went to WWCC. i miss it. there seems to be a lot more there than here in Utah!

There is always job just get off your lazy a** and ask around. Now N> Dakota is looking and it just like when the Jonnafield just start it... I only been here 3 years but I never run out of work. my vote is for laramie when school is in session. a huge selection of bars to choose from and most likely the largest pool of young ppl in one place in the state...

OMG WY SUCKS!!! I live in Star Valley, and moved here from Ohio...around Cleveland...there is nothing to do here! It is okay in the summer time for a bit, then you can see nature...but not an everyday thing!!! I am going crazy. LOL =)

Well folks, here's the truth of the matter.
If you are not an outdoors type, you will not like Wyoming. There's LOTS to do here, but not for city boys and city girls.
I LOVE it here, but I play outside. I hunt,,fish, hike, climb, rappel, skydive (been a few years since I jumped I have to admit) and shoot.
I never have enough time to do all the fun things I like to do in Wyoming.
So, best advice I can give is to try the outdoors activities --- or move back to a big city.
