You you in Alberta get your annual flu shot?
I got mine last week and my arm hurts a little more each day. This, no doubt, is not good. But on the plus side, since I have been getting the flu shot, I have not had the flu or pneumonia!!

Glad to hear that you've escaped the 'flu. I've been lucky in that I haven't had the 'flu since the Hong Kong variety in 1982. I don't bother with the shots.

I didn't either, maybe I should. I sure can't afford to get sick.

It takes your food seven seconds to get from your mouth to your stomach.
One human hair can support 3kg (6.6 lb).
The average man's private area is three times the length of his thumb.
Human thighbones are stronger than concrete.
A woman's heart beats faster than a man's...
There are about one trillion bacteria on each of your feet.
Women blink twice as often as men.
The average person's skin weighs twice as much as the brain.
Your body uses 300 muscles to balance itself when you are standing still.
If saliva cannot dissolve something, you cannot taste it.
Women reading this will be finished now.
Men are still busy checking their thumbs.

...would that be the WHOLE thumb... or just a joint?
I'm not sure, but I would assume it would be to the point where it meets the rest of
the hand.
When you're with a man, check the hands and thumbs.

I couldnt get my H1N1 shot in time - when in Calgary because I had asthma and couldnt stand outside in line for hours in the cold with my lungs in the shape they were in. I actually got H1N1 within a couple of weeks and was sick 6 weeks with pneumoniae. My boyfriend at the time made my life hell through it all and I ended up in financial breakdown while I wasnt able to work. And then with his constant bickering - I had to leave the home and then he decided "I was wrecked" and he didnt want me back after 9 months. Meanwhile his sister, took her family and went and budded into the line up and got the family shots. And then she phoned us to brag how she did it. And to tell me how sorry she was that I got sick. All that crisis and chaos over not getting the H1N1 shot in time.
