Iraq 03-04, C Co 2-152 INF, Mostly operated in the Basrah area. 1 of 163 Indiana National Guard soldiers exposed to sodium dychromate at the water injection plant. You may have heard about it in the news recently.
Iraq 06-07, D Co 2-152 Mech INF, OpCon to 5th and 6th Marines in Fallujah as an Inbed police transition team training Iraqi Police Forces. Also worked closely with NSW and Human Intel units from other branches.
April 07 IED ends my career taking a good portion of my cognative brain functions with it. Spent 9 months in rehab at Womack Army Hospital at Fort Bragg, NC.

I was 11B40, Grunt/Pointman 1st Air Cavalry Division, Tay Ninh, Quan Loi, Phouc Vihn, Cu Chi, Parrots Beck, Rubber Plantations, Triple Canopy Jungle, can't remember all the Wet, Hot, Muddy, Sweaty places I've been, most probably don't even excist anymore!!! Seen pictures of Quan Loi recently taken and you would never know there was ever a Base Camp there!
My last 3 or 4 months they made me a Mail Clerk 71?40, sorry I don't remember that MOS completely! Not that I did it all that long or that it effected my life at all! The 11B everyone that ever had that MOS remembers that one, it was a life altering MOS and fortunate to be Home, back in the world!! Welcome Home fellow Grunts and anyone that EVER served, no matter when or where it was, or what your MOS was! Glad to see you made it Home!!! Thanx for your Service and our Freedome!!

From Dec 1974 to Dec 1977 I was a 12B10, Combat Engineer, we built bridges and tank traps and stuff for our troops, and blew up the stuff the enemy built and wanted to keep...oh, and I drove the dump truck. C-4 is a blast!
From Oct 1980 to Sep 2004 I was a 2A671, Aerospace Propulsion Craftsman (Jet Engine Mechanic). Our product was the best in the world at sucking and blowing...period!
