Beside you in the sun have I walked
Together we have often just talked.
Though a step behind is where I stand

Is better for me then any spotlight

To many my life seems like a hell
Some do not understand why I care
They think life has been to me unfair
What they fail to understand you see
Is that my life is wonderful for me

A new poem for you my Love! 
Her gentle whisper in my ear does ignite,
a million candles of passion in the night.
The subtle tones of her love in her voice,
simply make my heart pound and rejoice!
Some may not her devotion and love see,
but they come through crystal clear to me.
Life has dealt her unfair blow after blow,
yet still the love from her heart does glow.
That heart of hers so damaged and bruised,
still has she, through it all, steadily cruised.
Facing each day as a new dawn for her life,
she manages somehow to get through the strife.
By distractions and strength she goes on,
it is what makes each day a brand new dawn.
Sometimes it may seem that she runs away,
but always in her heart I know that I stay.
For her Love that she gives to me is strong,
I feel it every day and even all night long.
Thank you my Love for the treasure you give,
know it makes me happy everyday that I live.
I Love you so deeply and from my soul true,

Thoughts of you I had today, flooded my mind in every way.
While I raked and picked weeds, while I was planting seeds.
I had to clean the roof too, and all the while missing you.
I had to go to two banks, as I whispered over and over, thanks.
I was thanking fate for you, because your heart is so true.
So many thoughts and dreams, more than I can remember it seems.
But of them all one is best, with Love and hope it fills my chest.
That one is the day we meet, when I am able to kneel at your feet.
When I can look up into your eyes, for me the highest of highs.
That dream is the best you see, as it comes the most often to me.

My darling Angel you are so very special to me.
Tomorrow marks a year passed and a new one to be.
Thank you for the love you have given my memory,
I am so excited to experience more for all eternity.
Your gentle voice in times when you're tired or sad,
touch my heart so deeply and no it's not something bad.
They are times I feel close to you and for that I'm glad,
times like those are special as are the others we've had.
Times we have been frustrated but talked things through,
Times there have been when I thought I might lose you.
But through them all good and bad our love just grew.
This is what makes me feel that our love is so very true.
So on this eve before our day of celebration to share,

Gee I joined a site by a fluke for the forums only,you joined the same site not really knowing why except that you clicked something in the inbox of your email's which was totally out of character for you.You reckon you were watching me for abit and you say that you kept looking at my profile hoping I would notice LOL.What you didn't know at the time was never do I look to see who has looked at me on sites as I only ever taught myself the computer to have contact with the outside world after 2 years of battling with Kane and 4 walls within my home for company!
I remember your threads but I steered clear of them as you attracted a crowd of beautiful sophisticated woman who would post soo perfectly and I felt that I wasn't good enough to post among you lot like I was out of my league as that site was like a washing machine on full spin cycle at the best of times and gee did that site teach me to have thick skin for DH
Then one day you had a thread in reguard's to asking people to name their fault's,I posted first and I said I smoke cigarette's and all those bloody fancy woman posted like they were vying for a bloody job as Doc Phil's bloody side kick
You quoted me and for the life of me no matter how I looked at what you posted to me I was bloody stuffed in what you were on about,so I mailed you and I said Gday what are you on about?
The rest is history
And remember a few were in shock that it was me and not them
I remember one silly lunatic said WoW this will be explosive
People were in shock cause you were always the gentleman and I was often doing time in jail
But you know what?
I need to thank you from the vert bottom of my heart and soul,for no matter your own battle's it's me that you alway's put first,it's me that you allow to have the first breath,it's me that you allow and are very proud for me just being me
No air's and grace's with this gal and thank you soo very much sweetheart for not just the time you love spending with me,but your poem's,your word's of our future together every night,your assurance's felt so much that it's as if you are right here in my home with me,don't ever ever doubt that bucko
Your flowers and your pressie's that come from the USA here to Aus amaze's me as no other has ever shown me what a true relationship is all about and it took a bloody yank to do that

Ninja thank you doesn't seem enough and you have always been like a bro to me from the get go on DH.It will work and as long as it's a two way street with you both giving 100% and as long as you ignore those that gasp and say no way,it's a bloody winner.
One day at a time and Jon has taught me that communication is the very key to ones heart and soul,oh yeah and when you see posts of being made fun of because of your relationship never ever get into a swinging match,either ignore or just hit back with humour,never feel embarrassed because you wish to express your feelings for eachother,but don't go bloody saturating threads though with it
