i am single and dont want to be single and i hate it when i see ever one else that has someone else that gets them something for V-day and all of us that dont have no one for that special day gets all depresed cuz of it all and we say that we hate love love stinks.

lol kit_kat, dont give up so soon to say love sucks, its a great thing...and yea i know where you're coming from always being alone on v-day, its how its always been for me, but honestly, just know that in time, someone will sweep you off your feet, and all in one motion, make up for all those missed v-days you've ever had.

I would love to be loved on that special day. I know what you mean seeing other people in V day and seeing them having the best time, and being together. Its something I hope I have for this V-Day.
If you dont have anyone for this V-Day, Dont be too sad, Because you are a beautiful girl and im sure some guy will come along and sweep you off your feet. Maybe we bolth will get lucky thou and have a special someone on that special day. It would really be nice woudlnt it?

Valentines Day is just ANOTHER day, single or not. It's what you make of it, you can choose to stay home, get all depressed because you feel no one loves you. Or can choose to do something for yourself, pamper yourself and love you for you. You don't need to have someone around you to make you feel loved. V-day is a month away, do you think if right now you find someone, you are going to know them enough and "love" them and this will make you feel all happy, or will it just be "like", and your just lusting? Yet you could be with them but that doesn't mean they will get you anything for Valentines Day.  It IS o.k. to be alone on Valentines Day, just don't let yourself be "lonely". Do something for YOU!! If you are with someone and love them, shouldnt you be doing this all year long and not just wait for that one DAY to let them know you love them?

i have a boyfriend and he is the world to me and just because u dont have a boyfriend or a special someone for u on v-day, that doesnt mean that u cant show someone else that u care for them. im 18 and my boyfriend is 21.

This thread feels like, "hey everyone thats single, hurry and get out and find someone for V-day so you wont be lonely on that one friggin day." V-day almost reminds me of D-Day! It really is ok to be single on a holiday, the world really isn't going to come to an end because you are alone.

i actually don't mind being single...last relationship was long term....i'm enjoying life meeting new people and hanging with friends.
one thing that i must admit that i love is for Valentine's Day me and all my single girl friends just have a total girls bonding day....mani's & pedi's, go to the beach, shopping, clubbing, dancing....whatever we want....this year i think we're doing a random road trip somewhere or gonna throw a party...
