I don't think you passed up anything. If you passed something up, it wasn't meant to be. Maybe, later down the road, when your mind is clear. The right woman that may have been under your nose, the hole time. Still may be there! Look behind you, she may be holding you up now. Only time will tell, I'm sure you have a reason for passing people by. One thing for sure is the ones that COUNT, will be there in the end. Listen to all advice, only follow with your heart. You can't lie to yourself, or your heart. Focus on emotional energy with family and home. Focus on life's nuances and undertones, the secrets behind other's intentions. When you find this, you will hold power to your own happiness. Cherish everyone in your life, you never know when your time will end. So, be happy and keep going. At the end of most pain, is something to gain. Your Friend, Sarah

Did you ever hear the song entitled "Holding out for a hero" by Bonnie Tyler? That is me that I am confident of being, and who I know I am ONLY steps from becoming.
God Bless the woman who is going to be with me!!!!

No like some areas in life. It lays dormant for awhile. Great thread. What I've noticed here, at this sight, is that everyone has their differences, shortcomings and whatevers. But, the majority here are very sympathetic and understanding. Also true is that you will almost always find someone here that has had a similar instance and can offer assistance in one way or another. It's not easy to get a relationship going these days let alone keep one going. We as a society seem to want instant gratification and when that doesn't happen we're programmed to loose interest. Look at how the medias are set up, microwaves, instant dating, internet, cellphones, etc. Keep on rolling and don't sweat the small stuff. You'll live a long time.

We all have the moments where we find our minds wondering down the lane of the past...the one where all of our could've beens, should've beens and party-things are. In a way, it helps us to relive, not only some great brief moments, but to reflect on the lessons learned from being with each and every one of them!
