What worked for me? I filed, paid and signed on the dotted line. Of course I can't say he truly left me alone but I am free...sorry about his luck. He's been re married and divorced and still trying to get me back. Ah the thrill of the chase...just ain't happenin though. He just wants what he can't have. Some are like that I guess.

Well, as a Man, my thoughts are like this; I take a hint real quick, sometimes TOO Quick; but I see it like this, I DAMN sure don't want to be around someone, who don't want me around.

I admit, I have memory problems. But I try as hard as I can and I'm pretty sure I retain the important stuff, but I'm not sure because I can't remember. lol
I have a friend that has been seeing a guy for about a year now and it is so evident that he doesn't listen to her. I've been with her when he has called and she has told him she is too busy to talk with him and that she will call him when she gets the chance and he will then call back at least three times within the next 10 minutes. It drives her crazy.
But the same can be said about some women. No matter how I tried my x couldn't hear a word I said unless it was about her. Her sister who lived in another state and sometimes in another country knew more about me than my x did.

Isn't the ? here - are there children involved with this? If not - then throw his ass in jail.
I mean normally I am an easy going - live and let live kind of gal
and honey, my boy's Daddy did WAY worse to me financially speaking - but he was my sons Father - so..I coped. It took a LOT to do, but I did it.
If there's kids of his - then they're a part of him, you can't trash him without tearing your children's esteem down - don't go there!
But if there's no children...
I have a man friend who tells me women have all the power (physically speaking) I don't think THAT's so true - but...
In this case - you do! assert it. Change your number. Move. Get a PO Box for your legal documentations. Get filed, do your "must-do's" through the courts. And if he's still knocking you around emotionally speaking - then you've got some major FCC violations. Toss the book at him.
Anything else is playing games and with this type of personality - game playing is seen as a sign of encouragement. "She must still LOVE me or she wouldn't do this..."
Sick but true.

I want to thank everyone for their advice- I just found out he postponed our court date. Oh well. I told him last night AGAIN in no uncertain terms that I didn't want him to call me, e-mail me, stop by etc etc. Since then he sent me an e-mail saying that he wasn't going to send me e-mails, and left me a voice mail telling me that he wasn't going to call me.
NO kids with this (soon to be) Ex-husband... thank the lord!!!!

PS to nomad2- I don't really appreciate the personal attacks- and my profile is very very true!
As for the sex thing- I have a wonderful boyfriend but I'm having a problem with my (soon to be) ex husband.
