I doubt it.I've seen lots start out that way.If you are friends, something attracts you to them.Go slow, some Miracles take awhile!!But the odds are,one of you sees way different from the other.

Ya you need to let him know how you feel its important... Its gonna hurt him some but feel good he not only thinks of you as a friend he also sees more in you.....There might be a odd feeling at first and a set back in the freindship but it will be back and just as strong....Guess you can tell by know it happend to me LOL Also being best friends maybe you can help him find a mate and someone that will let you be best freinds.. or someone that is willing to fullfill the sexual needs us guys have from time to time or is it all the time LOL On the real side of it help him find someone its not all that easy and harder when your best friend is a girl and every one thinks your a couple even if you tell them different/

ok picture this guys and girls!! first of all I myself am very honest on this site about NOT looking for friends! For the simple reason, GIRLS; if you meet 10 guys on here that are quote,; your friends (only ) do you honestly think that when you find a guy and the two of you fall madly in love with each other, that you are going to be able to keep those friendships with the 10 guys,...???? I think not. not in any case. And guys same to you, your new love WILL NOT alow you to have 10 (just friends ) that are women. AINT GONA HAPPEN!!!! So why get on here and say your looking for friends, when in the end, you are not going to be able to be there friend once you find the love you are looking for,;;; and thats why your truly here to began with!! ISN"T IT?? seems you can avoid ANYONE getting hurt.

Yeah... I'm friends with a LOT of women.
But to answer the initial question....
I suggest you consider your guy friend as a female you just found out was a lesbian.
(same difference.... just different gender)
And treat the situation exactly the same way.
Women can overlook a man's wants and needs because of our "bravado" and macho crap.
But underneith, most of us are as sensitive and easily hurt as any woman you've ever met.
Make sense??

This guy is a best friend so if you're going to be his best friend the least you can do is be honest in a nice way. You can tell him you're sorry to have to hurt him but the truth is you aren't able to feel romantic towards him. Tell him if he needs to back off on contact for a while, you'll understand, but you'll still regard him as a best friend.
I speak from experience and I have always found truth in a kind way is best. Further, my two best friends for the last 20 years have been women.

you need to set him down and tell him straight from your heart that you don't have those kind of feelings for him but that you want to remain his friend but that the things he's doing is making you feel uncomfortable. either he will respect that and remain your friend or he won't but you need to get this under control now before it goes any futher.

Of course it's possible. All of my best friends are Men. Some times they are alot more loyal then women. No offense. But I have more fun with my Male friends than with my Female friends.
