The "nm" part is obvious... or at least I hope it is to all who live in New Mexico.
Diogenes is one of my favorite Greek philosophers. He's the father of the cynics and is the only known man to publicly insult Alexander the Great and live to tell about it. He is best known for his "search for an honest man", which is a jab, in good fun, at all the profiles women post on these sites describing the man they are looking for.

The poet Ovid wrote the Phoenix. The Phoenix was a mythical bird that could never die but every 500 years it would fly into the sun and be consumed in flames and then resurrected itself out of it's own ashes. I started getting sick in 97', HBP and Congestive heart failure. This was followed by emphysema and in June 05' I left my family to go off and die so they could live without the burden of me dying. In January 2006 I ended up in ICU and when my sister found me they told her to say goodbye because I wouldn't make 5 days. At the end of two months they taught me to walk again with physical therapy. My heart, lungs, and liver had all gone south on me.
My sis brought me out here to die and in June 07' they told me I had a week to live and wouldn't make a month. Again I rose from the death fire and, like the Phoenix, I wonder if I'll ever die. I've been told 7 times that I was a walking dead man and twice given an expiration date, each time I rose out of the flames. Here it is now 2010 and the heart doc says my heart is almost normal and the docs and nurses say my liver turns in better numbers than theirs. I have beat death all my life, rolled three cars, hit a car head on on my motorcycle, fell off cliffs, the list goes on. Right now I'm build a KZ1000 cop bike for my niece and once I get that done I'm gonna get me a set of wheel up. I've been on this farm alone for 5 years now and I'm ready to spread my wings and fly. Just like the Phoenix, death has no hold on me and I'll never grow up (but that's another story).
