Since you are looking at the forums, which threads peak your interest? Which types are you most likely to respond to and which do you skip over or prefer not to read???
I like any type of thread that will cause me to pause and think. Subjects like dating/relationships interest me,but I also like the lighthearted ones that will put a smile upon your face.
The ones I will respond to the most will be the lighthearted ones or those of which I feel I can give insight when the OP is asking for opinions or experiences.
The Threads I really have a problem with are those that read like want ads or get too heated when someone doesn't agree with them (course my personal opinion and certainly don't fault others if they like those types of things)

I'm just always anticipating something that hasn't been done. And every once in awhile a person nails it.

I suppose it is difficult to think of an issue that will be on the minds of many and who will respond in a positive and responsible manner. And there have got to be people out there who ask themselves why about something and are afraid to post on here as they may be feeling that they are alone in feeling as they do. A couple positive things that come out of the forums is that you find you are not alone in the way you think about certain subjects and secondly, those who respond regularly will build a relationship of sorts with others who do the same.

I enjoy the threads that are about serious issues for relationships or dating. However it angers me when I see someone post a thread with a serious question about their relationship issues or a broken heart and along come the clowns that joke about it or ridicule the person needing some support or help.
I also like the fun threads just to pass time and read some funny things some of my friends might post.

I like threads where the same person can reply more than once...otherwise, they have a short shelf life.
I also like the ones you can have fun with and interact with others....I have made some great friends that way.
The game threads are fun, not everything needs to be serious and thought provoking (although I like some of those, also).
I do not like self pity threads or attention seeking threads.
(I'm REALLY sorry about that Bill and Naughti thread... ).
Most of all I don't like the personal want ads. I believe anyone who starts one of those is fair game.
Something different and original would be nice...but is there anything left?

Yes, some are worth repeating.
And...we need to keep in mind that new people are joining every day and what is old and done to death to us is new to them.

A woman named Wanda Jackson (?) first recorded it but it is Tammy Wynette's version that I liked and hear the most.

I prefer the more lighthearted threads, but occasionally I like the ones that make me think instead of being a smartass.
My guilty pleasure is when Bill and Naughtical get going on something. I just want to sit back with a bag of popcorn and enjoy.

Slafa came up with an interesting comment on another thread. It made me wonder.....Do you go into threads based on the subject line or do you go into all of them to see what the real subject is?

I like threads where you basically go In and then OUT and get a little chuckle or make someone else chuckle.

I am not one to read page after page of a thread (although that means it is popular) so at times I might repeat something that someone else has commented on. Depending on the thread, it may not be as easy as IN and OUT lol If it is really interesting, I may linger a while
