Ive been doing zumba for about 2 months now and ive lost around 18 lbs..I used to get seriously bored with workout routines after a few weeks but this is actually fun..I danced for 8 years when i was younger so it was easy to pick up the moves.

Hey guys I am 54 and I have started walking and I lost about twenty pounds and I was wondering if I started lifting weights if the extra skin on my body would have to be removed or would it shrink back? That is my biggest fear of loosing more weight. I am about 5'9' and I weight about 270. How do you shrink the boobs though?

I saw the infomercial and was excited to watch but since I am unemployed it makes it hard to get things done. My ex said just use your own body to loose weight, I guess that's why I didn't care whether I lost it or not. I love the video and the energy. Does it really work?

twinkle, if you get an answer about the loose skin, let me know. I have been losing weight but have some areas that need tightening. I'm hoping my increased activity level will help. I live on the second floor with a Jack Russell Terrier pup, need I say more. I've also been going to the gym. I didn't get there last week because I was sick but when I'm feeling better, I will be back. I also help unload trucks at the local food bank and am on a 1200 calorie diet. I've lost 7 pounds in the past week or so. I want to lose about 20 pounds, at least. I am 5'2" and am 156 right now.

I changed my eating habits on the first of the year and have lost almost 50#. I am going to add exercise next week because my weight lose is really showing and I need to start sculpting. I only weigh in once a month so next Sunday I hope tp have a new total. I am only around half way to my goal, but so far so good.

Just started working out in March...starting to dread going to the gym. I lost 10lbs so far, but I really want to lose about 75. Not feeling so inspired. It's really hard! Pray for me guys. I'm tired if being "pretty to be a big girl" =(

I've been working out for the last year, and have been trying to keep myself focused, but often manage to talk myself out of going to the gym (tired from work, not enough time, etc) I have managed to go from a size 42-36 in the last year, and have gained muscle, and currently weigh around 215. I would love to be at 200, I just need the willpower to work out every day.

Actually, if you're weight training you don't want to work out every day. Your body needs recovery time.
I break up my weight training with cardio and I try to find something fun to do that I can be enthusiastic about. Right now, it's bike riding with Scott. Sometimes we go on an evening hike.

I didn't think walking a 20min/1mile during lunch 5days a week would help!?! but it has in just a couple months I don't do scales but my clothes feel a bit better. I gave up seconds and chasing a 3 yr old around didn't hurt either. I'm on my way back to a size 8

I'm a well experienced trainer and I've had clients that you would be impressed to see what they looked like before and after. The heaviest client I had, I helped him lose 186 lbs, just through better eating habits and moving and exercising RIGHT. Too many people are selling gimmicks and none of it works, do yourself a favor, if your serious about it, and hire somebody that knows what the hell they're talking about... it will be well worth the money, I can tell, because not only do I get to see their physical appearance change.. but their mood and the way they feel about themselves changes as well, and that is what makes it so rewarding to be somebody that can help people in the health field.

Some gyms give you one to two hours of personal training a week with your memebership but you have to make sure they do this before signing up. I signed on Planet Fitness and they do this by groups.

I started looking into my body type and what will work for me. Im just starting out but I think ultimately its about finding what works for u and sticking too it. Although I also agree in changing up ur work outs. I think ill always recommend the biggest loser work out dvds they are a really great work out.

I lost 21.5 lbs in a month. Here's how.
1) gym Cardio increase time and speed on treadmill to push yourself so building yourself to run a 5k is a good start. Once youre able to run a 5k after a week increase the level and try again.
2) eat 4-5 times per day. I focus on low calorie high protein and fiber. Eat a good breakfast egg whites or oatmeal or both together. Make your last meal of the day small and make sure it's at least 3-4 hours before bed. So yes go to bed hungry.
3) supplements.. Take a thermogenic until you feel a plateau then change it up. For example hydroxycut for 1 month then switch to megamen ripped vitapak.

I heard drinking a glass of water before you eat helps lose weight. says you will eat less. i just had a hysterectomy so I just started this. wish me luck. i also eat on a medium sized plate it looks fuller but your really eating less. this worked for me before surgery. And try not to get second servings. good luck!!!

This might sound crazy but try and eat 5-7 small meals a day high in protein this will speed up your metabo also cut all breads,pastas.etc also if you plan on exercising of working out drink any supliments 30/45mins before and immediately after.
Theres no secret to weight lose just exercise and exercise. Also miracle diet pills are a waste of money you only need a $5 bottle of pills or nodooz it's cheaper and safer and get same result or better as $60 gnc crap
For the dudes above 40 I highly recommend HRT or TRT I have yet to meet anyone that regrets getting on testosterone therapy kick a** results can't wait till I'm 45 sign me up
