I joined the site a little over a year ago just from pure boredom, not really thinking I would actually meet someone I would like.
I chatted with a few ladies and even met a couple, but no sparks. One day I received a message. Nothing special (so I thought), just someone saying hello and that she liked my profile. I immediately clicked on hers and saw the prettiest lady I have ever seen in my life. Right away I was thinking something had to be wrong with her. I mean she did speak to ME.
We chatted for a couple weeks and we hit it off from the get go. We had a lot in common and she was so sweet I couldnt wait to get home and chat with her. After the first week or so of chatting, we exchanged phone numbers and talked for a few days. I finally got up the nerve to ask her out for dinner. She said first things first. She wanted me to answer a few questions first so she sent me a small questionnaire. It was really cute. I passed the test with flying colors so she accepted my invitation to dinner.
The evening had come and I was more nervous than I have ever been in my life. She was very cautious (which was something else I liked about her) so we met at a restaurant in her town.
It was a small country kitchen so I was even more impressed.
I arrived first and waited for her to pull up. She got out of her car and she looked amazing. I still didnt understand what she seen in me, but I am glad she saw something.
We had a good dinner and we sat and talked for a couple hours. Everything was going good, but I didnt want to overstay my welcome and we both had to work the next day, so I walked her to her car. I didnt want to leave her and I guess she didnt either because she asked if I wanted to take a ride with her and she would give me a tour of the college campus she worked at. I jumped at the chance.
After taking the grand tour of the college we took a nice romantic walk around historic downtown Greeneville. After walking for a while we sat on a bench in the courtyard at the historic General Morgan Inn. It is really a beautiful place and very romantic.
It was getting very late and like I said, we both had to work the next day so we called it a night.
This was our first date, it was July 17, 2009. After that night we were inseparable.
Five months later, two days before Christmas, I called her up and told her to get ready I was taking her out to eat and to wear something nice.
As we were driving, she kept asking where we were going. I told her it was a surprise and we would be there in a minute. We rolled into the parking lot at the General Morgan Inn and I could see the huge smile she had on her face.
We had a wonderful romantic dinner and everything was going great. After dinner we walked out into the courtyard where we spent our first date and sit on the same bench.
The next part is a little blurry because I was so nervous.
After talking for a few minutes, I told her I fell in love with her right here on our first date. I got down on one knee, pulled out the ring and told her I could not live without her! SHE SAID YESSSSSS !!
This past May, we had a beautiful wedding at the small chapel directly across the street from the inn. I love her with all my heart and she is the best thing that has ever happened to me. Krazy4Karz, I love you!
