I understand... I will be sure to put our wedding pictures on here  Brad is buying my son and I tickets down there in a couple days and yesterday we decided the wedding will be on November, 2nd.... which is also my 21st birthday. I am probably going to tell my folks after I get married to be honest. But its seriously no joke.

Well I have to give you kudo's for your spelling and grammar since most people your age are horrible at it. So you obviously have some smarts about you
I am worried that since you do not have good relations with your family you may be trying to find love too quickly in men and not yourself or even God.
I will be praying for you in all these areas...best wishes no matter what you decide as you are an adult...just hope you have other resourses to fall back on.

You didn't ask for advice but I'm sorry your plan of action is what has invited the criticism. I have met 3 different guys on DH AFTER having those lengthy in depth conversations and I can sum it up in 2 words TRAIN WRECK!!! Sure I thought I knew them and that everything would be great. I was wrong & that was just DATING that wasn't packing up & moving myself to a state where I had no family, no job, and nowhere to go when Mr. OH SO RIGHT turned out to be wrong.
Now if we are ALL wrong in wishing you would take it slow & warning you to be careful maybe its because we've been there and don't want to see you or him get hurt. Not to mention the 2 children who will be affected by the choices you make.
I haven't said any of you were wrong. They are your opinions... but we are still going to do what were going to do... We are both very stubborn...

I did not think so...but I would like to be but just because a man says he is old fashioned and that it is for life...well I have my doubts...I do not like having doubts but not all men understand that I have many needs and when they do not even offer or ask if I am okay I have to wonder...so maybe in a year I will not be married...I apparently ask for too much...LOL ha ha ha that is a good one...LOL! Someone tell me what should I expect from someone who says they want to be with me for life??? I was married for 16 years and it has been 3 years since my divorce...I am out of the loop as far as marriage or relationships... I need help but I feel like if I am still on my own and he feels no obligation to me, not really obligation to me just wants to take care of me... what do I really need him for?? Just sex gets old after awhile... Am I way off base??? Any realistic advice would be appreciated. I have made so many mistakes in my life and am struggling to survive now...I am very cautious...My heart wants to be with him but my mind says wait a minute I am worth more than I am getting...why settle for someone that talks the talk but does not walk the walk...he does not want to see me but on the weekends...I need more from a man...but do not feel like it is right to force it..it should be freely given...

Oh, sweetie, give it some time! Be sure to do a few things for yourself before you commit to build a life with someone. If he is Mr. Right that will remain the same no matter how long you continue to see each other. He will love you in a year, 2 yrs, 3 yrs. Get educated, travel a little, do some of the things you want to do with him, now before babies engulf your life. You have soooo many wonderful years ahead of you both.
