These are the daylight hours for a couple of the cities in alaska.
If you live in Barrow there is no sun for the whole months of december and January!

even in Barrow , where I've worked both winter and summer, its not "sun" but you do get a few daylight hours, and in the summer , You get a few nite hours. not very many of either , but they are there.

But on a more serious note, I have never understood why a man would go to ala ska looking for ladies. Its like someone saying "military intellegence" its an oxymoron.
