It all depends on the age to me. My kids are grown and I really don't want to be in a relationship that is tied down by little kids...

It matters because it tells you a lot about that guy... what kind of parent he is reflects the man he is. Also, obviously the kids came from another woman, and that other woman will always be a part of his life.
Personally, at this point in my life, I would rather not date someone who has kids. I'm not ready for that yet. I'm not going to turn down someone who does have kids, but it's an issue that will impact my relationship with him at some point, and it's just something that needs to be kept in mind.

as long as the guy is honest and does take care of what his responsiblity then I am cool with a guy having kids.That shows he's a real man if he take care of what is his,and then I would be scare to walk into even though he will be dividing my time with kids it's cool...

I think that depends.
If an older man in his 30's or 50's has children but is seeking a younger girl say 21 or so that has no children of her own then I would think in that case it will matter to her.
But if the man seeks for an older woman like himself then Most likely she has children of her own also and even if she doesn't have any it wouldn't matter as much to her in this case.
In my case it doesn't matter because I have one of my own

I have two young boys (long story) and I find that being a package deal DOES scare a lot of women away. The been-there-done-that reasoning resonates loud and clear in my case.

I have kids, ones almost 5 and ones 4 months. I don't care if he were to have kids or not. As long as he loved my kids and me thats all that would matter!

No...........to say yes would be such a doublestandard. I am a single parent and my son and I are a package deal. To be any less accepting of a man would be unfair and just plain stupid..........JMO

I just don't/can't have anymore of my own kids. I have 3 and 1 grandson, but would welcome a boyfriends children with open arms. They are who he is, right?

I like kids, but would prefer that his be grown and out of the house. Grandkids are ok, since I have none of my own. I'd like someone that has the time, energy & effort to devote to me.
