Went to my 1st one 40 years ago, I still like them but times they do change and so has the Sturgis rally. Personaly I miss it as it once was, But as we all know you can never go back but in your dreams the rest is hear and now, so enjoy!! And make new dreams.

I've ridden ou to the rally the past 18 years. It's my one and only vacation every year. It has even changed in the last 10 years. I probably only spend one day in Sturgis. The rest of the time is spent riding in the beautiful Black Hills and hooking up with friends from all over. I don't like all the stupid bikers who drive like freakin maniacs and are in such a hurry to get to their next drink they never see the beauty of the area.

I think it is cool that a group of people can come together from different backgrounds to spend some time with others who might have a common interest -- bikes and bike riding.
I have spent time in Sturgis during the rally many years ago. However, I do no have a huge desire to go back. I like the revenue it brings to the state even if some of it is in the form of tickets. I do not like the negative publicity that is sometimes generated by a minority of the group.
