Hi, I'm Dave and I live in the Frisco/Little Elm area of Dallas. I've been divorced for about 5 years now and have a 10-year old son. I won't go into all the details - It's all in my profile.
Due to my career and my side businesses, I really don't go out as much anymore to randomly run into the pretty girl to ask. So I figure I'll give this online dating thing a chance. I would love to meet a pretty woman that isn't overly clingy and that is open minded in...various areas.
I've read a few profiles so far and see alot of "I hate this" and "this happened to me" drama, which we all have experienced in some form or the other...seriously, you just have to let it go. Living in the past is as my son would say "an epic fail". If your educated, stable, and not desperate to be saved - I would love to do the pen-pal thing and see where it leads.

Welcome back to the U.S., but why Salida? Why not Alamosa (actually, probably would have chosen Salida over Alamosa too), or Gunnison, Montrose or Grand Junction? Spent about 4 1/2 years in Western CO and loved it.  But never thought I'd see the day when your lows are warmer tnan our highs!
Just FYI: Hope you find Mr. Right here, but do be very cautious. I know of another who thought she did too, but did not turn out anything like she had hoped.
Anyway, welcome back to the U.S. and D/H!
