I just wanted to make one slight correction to at least defend the organization spoke of. The Church of Satan is in fact an atheistic philosophy that is based upon the carnal and rejects all forms of mysticism and spirituality. There does actually exist atheistic religions just like some forms of Buddhism and Taoism. The CoS has elements of Objectivism and embraces a Nietzschen approach to its philosophy. Hence the term Satan is seen as only a metaphor and in Russia they term this in the context of militant atheism hope that sheds some light on the subject.

I hope I am not sounding like the ACLU here but unless everyone here adheres to a certain set of beliefs (or non beliefs) then this would be a place for others like this. I mean I am sure there is a lot of common values that we all might embrace within relevant context.
Such as Church and State separation and or anything scientific for that matter. This isn't my forum but I would like to think that many may have their own ideas and values within atheism that could be shared and expressed that is all .
