if a guy is 30+ or even 35+ whats with him wanting an 18 year old girl i dont discriminate against age but there like 12+ years older then her some could have kids as old as her i think its not a good thing to have a big age span with the one your dating because it would be like your dating a kid, some people are only attracted to older people but they will tell you if they are if it says a certian age on the profile dont try to get her to change her mind your be a craddle robber yes i said it just try to find someone around your age so you have more in common if your trying for younger your tryin for someone that could still be a kid to some people me i would date someone from 18-25 maybe 26 but i am 21 though not 35 or what ever sum of the guys ages are on here that was girls like 20 years younger then them im not trying to be mean but what is with guys 30+ trying for such younger girls i could understand if it was like a 7 maybe 8 year differance but like 12+ just sounds wrong to me just my opinion tough

I understand where you are coming from. Now day’s age just is not as important anymore. Age gaps from both sides are not frowned upon like they used to.

100 years ago when I should of been born the age between men and women getting married was a hell of lot more than now. NOW older women with younger men may be something thats just starting to be accepted. Age is nothing I know women/men that act way older and way younger than the number of years they have been walking the earth. Matter of preferance and who you are...should not be a factor to be looked at by anybody except the two people involved. Bottomline it isnt anyones business but their own. Ya I got a problem with people judging others.

Personally, I think it's great that age doesn't matter as much now. That said, would I get together with a woman (girl, really) that was young enough to be a daughter? I seriously doubt it. There is something to be said for life experience.
When I hear of huge age gaps, whether it be older male or female, I tend to think there must be something "off" with the older person, some lack of life experience, that makes them associate better with someone that much younger. Of course, the whole "mid life crisis" thing could be coming into play, making the older person seek out acceptance from someone younger just to validate that they (the older) are still attractive. I've seen this quite a bit in women. It will never be a serious relationship, just a quick validation and then they move on.
I really think it boils down to insecurity, one way or another. And I'm no shrink, so I really can't say anything more... just my own thoughts and rambling, heheh.

I agree w/aarondello on this. I can't see what a 30-35 y/o has in common w/an 18 y/o. 18 year olds just haven't matured to where someone who is 30-35 is. It is hard to communicate w/ them because they can't relate and vice versa. at least that is what i seen when my son whom was only 17 or 18 i think was seeing this woman who was about 20-25 ears older than him. she just wanted to break his "cherry". he told me that he couldn't converse w/her. it was purely physical on her behalf. she went on to break his heart. there wasn't anything there except that.

yea cuz i could be with a girl thats like 7 years older then me but that would be iffy i would rather be with a girl my own age im actaully working on being with a girl rite now she lives in florida which sucks but she is amazing i just recently met her she is 18 but thats only 3 years difference then us and i would still be working on getting with her if she was 3 years older then me i just find her to be perfect and the kind of girl im looking for she calls me her bf when were both on a chat site we go to and we talk she calls me sumtimes but my phone is temporarly off rite now so we cant talk on the phone but shes amazing and i like her were talking rite now still getting to know each other and were gonna see if one of use will be willing to transfer to the others college next semester but im hoping she will be with me for a long time just how we talk and how sweet she is makes me feel like there is someone out there for everyone,, so back to the topic "example if a 35 year old is hitting on a 18 year old girl and trying to get with her just the simple math of 35-18 would be a hint that shows maybe she might be to young cuz the age difference would be close to her own age lol just an example though dont be getting mad if your one of those types of guys that wants a girl that is that much younger" but i do know i would fight for my girl if a guy 30-35+ tried to get with her but i wouldnt have to worry because of her likeing me an only wanting to be with me plus im pretty sure the age would be a bad thing for her too lol

Things are warming up. I am very ready for Spring and summer. It will be a lot of fun this year I am sure!
This morning it was still somewhat cold but nothing to bad really. It is warming quickly to a nice comfortable temperature by around noon. I love having those windows open and just feel that breeze it's awesome!!
Nothing better then getting up nice and early and watching the sun come up in a crisp clear blue sky! And drink an ungodly amount of coffee of course

i have a new one a guy that is 49 who wants a girl 35-51 it goes from 13 years younger to 2 years older i think if a guy wants to do a gap of 13 years younger then they should go 13 years older so it should be like a guy 49 looking for a girl 35-62

Someone closer to my age would be nice. But you know sometimes you get plain tired of being alone. Sure going though all the poblems with the age difference is it worth it not to be alone anymore. I don't know. But I do know that a certain woman closer to my age and I have been talking for awhile and we have so much in common. But nothing. She even says we have alot of same beliefs. Probaly about 90% is the same. But it looks like the 20 year old is it. What is your opinion narya.

Well, my opinion is do never do anything out of desperation. Nothing good ever comes from it. Sometimes it is good for a person to be alone and truly discover what happiness would mean to them. Being alone and taking a good look in that mirror can give you the answers you may be seeking without knowing you had questions to begin with. Not spending time to try and be in a relationship because you simply do not want to be alone.
It is not that bad you know. I am getting used to it after all this time

Little Ms its not that bad you know....it is that bad..it isnt the way it should be..it also shouldnt be so hard to find someone.. no matter how different a puzzle piece you are... to find someone that fits. But its damn hard because so many people want and try to be something they are not. I really feel even after many years of being with someone they still attempt to be what they think you want them to be. It just doesnt work. being alone I agree does make you really think about what it is you want...and it should make you be honest with yourself and say who the hell am I...because if you dont know who you are and what you want how the hell can you know who is right for you??? No maater how much we want to not take the blame for failed prior relationships...we did have a part in why it failed. Even if that part was not knowing who we had chosen in the first place was wrong for us because we really didnt want them to be wrong....we overlooked things or never really got to know them before leaping..just my opinon but just sayin

Well on this I suppose I am not the best person to speak as my exhusband was 15yrs older than me. Hell almost every man I have ever dated as been 5+ years older than me. Though I was always taught age doesn't matter its compatability. Not saying that its easy to find even in our own respective age groups but when its found age should not make or break it...I mean being that the young party is at least leagal. I personally have been called an 'old soul' all my life as I have never had much in common with those within my age group so I tend to look outside of it. Though whether it me male or female who are any of us to judge them for who they want? We all have a personal preference and if they find someone young that wants someone older who cares, they have to date, live and sleep together and we aren't there!!!
Seems to me like those that actually care about this type of thing feel intimidated that maybe these older men and women are taking 'the good ones' in their age group and are unhappy because they are finding these younger ones WANT older. Just my opinion though take it or leave it, but its not gonna change.
