After only meeting two people from DH I found a very wonderful woman and had a few good weeks getting to know her. Unfortunately her job is taking her out of town and we decided not to keep seeing each other. We hope to remain friends though. I just wanted to encourage other DH users. It can work and I hope it will work for me again

I am so sorry to hear that the lady you met is moving, however, it is good to know that there was at least a beginning to a success story. I tried this online dating thing years ago on a different site and thought I had met the most wonderful man, unfortunately he turned out to be the biggest mistake of my life. So, now that I think about it, I'm not sure why I am trying it again, lol. However, I am already getting frustrated because men from as far away as Maine are contacting me, and I even had one guy ask me to wire him money!! I couldn't believe it. No, I didn't wire the money, and yes, I did report him. Anyhow, I saw your post that this site does work and it gave me some encouragement, so I'll hang in there a bit longer and give it a try. Thank you for sharing your story!

Yeah I have the same problem with distance. I have met some women on other "social" sites that I connected with quite easily but it seems difficult to meet a local woman that I "click" with. DH has helped though. I feel it's only a matter of time until I find the long lasting love that I want. Don't give up
