Some people like city, some like country. I like the later. Here's a thread to share a typical weekend and OK to put what you want to do next weekend too.
Last weekend started early friday I packed up a mess of things, 6 guns, food, made doggie cookies, watered, fed and talked to my cows. Headed up to Horsebranch and stopped at Chucks in Bowling Green for some evening alcoholic beverages. HB by 1pm and hugged my Annabelle who was waiting. Dogs all did the meet and greet, went fine as always and all 5 are happy.
We did some walking the property, the roads, butt burner hills for daily exercise, walk the creeks, look for arrowheads. Her horse Jake walks with us in the pastures. Shoot some guns. Good dinner, a movie. Sat night was a huge firepit filled with hickory and a 2x4 foot grill on top. Pitmaster yours truly. Real hickory smoked barbecued baby backs and some huge ribeyes. Played a lot of basketball with the boy, "horse". Good company another good DVD movie. Sun morn I made some bulleyes for breakfast and we went to work sorting chickens into pens so the full blood Brahmas could breed. Too many roosters, whacked and stacked 7 of them into the freeze. Feed water, same for the pheasants. More basketball all through the weekend of course. Lots more shooting, leftover ribs, good company. Boy played his mandolin a bit, he does bluegrass.

I went to Bobby Mackey's last weekend. It's a country bar in Northern Kentucky. I don't listen to alot of country, but I had a pretty good time. I was too hung over to do much Saturday... I spent the day grillin out and hangin out with my kids.

Hmmm... let's see... Last weekend I spent the whole day Saturday with my mom. We ate at Hillbilly Hotdogs for lunch, went to Huntington Mall, got my hair cut, nails done, looked around, stopped by Wal-Mart (agsinst my better judgment) no the way home, then had dinner at Ruby Tuesdays. I really can't remember what I did Friday and Sunday. Am I getting old?
Next weekend... going to a winter guard competition on Friday night (to make my friend happy - I'm so dog-gone nice!) Who knows what the rest of the weekend will look like.
Such an exciting life I live ...

bulls eyes maybe toast cutting out the center and placeing an egg in it and cooking it in the skillet. i use to make them for my kids in the morining b4 they got on the bus. it give them a crazy reason to eat breakfast cause they just wasnt interested at 6am so i got creative with it! Another cool idea is doing pancakes with raisons making a face smile or sad there choice can use choc chips too. just creative ideas!

ooo what i did last weekend!  forgot that! had a good time! went to the gorge hike some rode around looking at all the sites. found a water fall! had a wonderful time! Hopefully get to do that again this weekend Being out side is my fav thing in the to do list! Soon being camping and looking at the stars o o i cant wait!

Okay where did you drive what part of the country are you in? What did you see? ANything unsuall? DO you like to take pictures? DO you like to camp? What is your fav time of year? I love to camp take pictures ..i love the spring it when i see all that was sleeping comming back to life! I love taking pictures of ol trees. you wonder why an ol tree its because there is so much expression in them if you take the time to see it,,,somtime i will post pictures if anyone wants to see them..pictures are worth a thousand words the ol saying is. they are too! i can look at the pictures i taken may seem like nothing to you but to me i can express that day....... see the differ feeling in your and my words now its your turn nightstyle....i want to know what you like if you care to share .....

Lets see I cleaned house friday and saturday and sunday I went to Dayton OH and back with some friends. We all had a great time. We laughed and cut up all the way there and back. We did some crying to remembering some old hurts and pains of the past from many years ago. I got to meet a few new people, which is always good. We ate at Red lobster and Fazoli's and mc donalds, lol .
This weekend I hope to finsih what I started and hope to get some work done and get my new buisness venture started. I also Want to go to church and hopefully bring a friend along with me or a patential new bf, lol.

I went with the intentions of visiting my fathers, grandfather and grandmothers and great grandmothers grave sites. I hadn't visited there for quite some time....Just talked to them for awhile. Visited my old home site also....had some memories, left a tear or three and came home.

That is always good. My family is in Michigan. Wish i could do that spring is comming I recall the times of the days gone by. Miss them alot. Hold them close in my heart. If i was in MI i would be getting ready to place their fav flowers on the grave site. Remiss about the days gone by sit and drink coffee with them and read some passages of a good book. then leave....Happy i know they are in heaven and in no pain! PTL! I have drivin thre your area nightstyle its a small blink your eyes and your threw it area! Seen some good places to get some pictures.

Yeah, it seems even smaller now. They built a bypass around us....I like it though, it's much quieter without all the trucks rolling through....Much less dangerous too.
Been here most of my life, born in northern Ky., stolen by my father's family and raised down here. Things were alot different back then than they are now. But that's another story and doesn't need to be aired here, too involved to get into.

I'm so happy for you and Annabelle! You sound so happy! I can't wait to meet her
Bullseyes. Heat a cast iron pan with butter in it. Make a hole in the center of a slice of bread maybe half dollar size. Put the slice in the pan, crack an egg in the hole, lift the slice so some white runs under. Flip when ready, cook to your desired gooiness. It's egg in bread vs on bread.

Yep but I just use bread and cooking it makes the toast. I did funny pancakes for kids. I also like pancakes with corn in them, cut up apple,,, I make killer waffles with folded in egg whites and walnuts crushed to almost a powder (no crunch just taste) Kinda like make a grilled cheese and when almost done put in a 1/2 teaspoon dill pickle juice in the pan for effect, not whole slices.

Well I didnt do anything friday, but saturday I went on my 5th date with mjcats10 !!!!!!
Im so glad I gave this a shot and agreed to go on our 1st date back on the 3rd.
We stayed in ordered pizza, watched movies, and.... had a very good time!

I went out dancing for the first time EVer! Me and 5 other people went to a local bar "the moose". I'm usually really self concious wondering if ppl are lookin or laughing at me but after 6 shots  (maybe 9) of tequila I did not care.. and I was sore for 4 days! I had so much fun just being with my girls and realizing I may have a little more rythm than I thought .... so excited about doin the exact same thing this weekend!

Know that I watched songs from the 50' 60's including Roy O late into the night on KET.
Saturday was household chores.
Sunday was a dinner date at Montana Grill, prime rib and tatter with gooy stuff on top. All good!

Well I spent most the weekend working my colts, Saturday night I did end up at Fatboys its a great little honky tonk just mins from me. And Sunday I went to church and worked on my bass boat....
This weekend we have a Rodeo and I hope its nice enough on Sunday to take my boat out and maybe a late trail ride...

Fri nite did some laundry and striaghtened up. Sat in the yard, pickin up and cleanin up ole man winters messes. Granma and grandpas house is being remodeled so there is all that trash to eliminate.. Tring to get 9 acres ready for weekly lawn mowing.. move, cut back and dispose of enough stuff and weed eating time is drastically reduced. Sunday skipped church and done more of the same.. Had a visitor sunday while prunin back some trees.. Late Sunday evening I went for a ride.. "IT was great" came back done a little mowing and then to the house.. Not done yet guess I have another weekend to go.. Gonna rob grandmas flower bed this weekend.. Save me some bucks. Seems she has some annuals..
