How would everyone react if you were with someone for 5 years was married and had a child, then seperated based on giving each other space and the next few weeks your ex was living with another person still married to you? Just wondering this happened to me, to cause my divorce! Thanks for the responses!!

depends on who wanted to give the other space. You, her or both of you. If my spouse wanted to separate based on needing space, I would be quite upset and know the marriage was going down the drain. If you wanted space, she may have done it to hurt you, if she wanted the space, she knew what she wanted, space to move on.
I hope you find someone who will love you and care for you the way you want to be loved.

Sorry that happened to you. I've always had the opinion personally that wanting space, or time
to find oneself is just an excuse because they want to break up and don't have the courage or
decency to say so. So they play games, and the poor unsuspecting partner tries to accommodate
and work things out, when all the while it is futile.
If you owned the property you shared, check with a lawyer because I know where I live, usually the
one who left gives up the right to live there to the other, except when forced to move out (as in an
abusive relationship) or when coerced/tricked, as you were.
Re-reading, I gather you are already divorced, so it's done. You will find someone better next time.

Happened to me, guess were in the same boat. But, she got pregnant and we dont really know who the daddy is. Be careful, I paid the price, but in the in I have come out on top.
