It is lovely here, and very easly to make friends, I moved to ND about 16 years ago from Missouri to be with my husband at the time to find out he had a double life, and I was stuck here not knowing a single person, and their are wonderful people to make you comfortable.

Great advice RO!
I've lived in ND/MN my entire life and yes it does get boring especially in the winter. once Spring hits and people are moving around it'll be easier to meet new people.
The ND chat on this site is pretty much dead for some reason. Go into the age group chats or just do the "meet me" feature and search profiles. Don't be afraid to strike up a chat with someone that catches your eye. The thing that frustrates me the most about any dating site is the "meet me" section. I have hundreds of guys that have said that they want to meet me but only a dozen have actually bothered to initiate the chat. If you're not going to start a conversation on here you will be bored! Like RO said, relax, get involved and have fun!

My friend drove all the way to Florida looking for a good paying job. So far all he's seeing is expensive lodging, and unfriendly people!
One guy told him, "he's too old to be working in the oil field!" I told him to flex his muscle, grab the guy on the scruff of his neck and lift him up and see if he still see him as old!"
For 5 days and she is still driving around looking for a job!
