Ha, me and mine too. Worthless place, best thing there is Camp Keyes, seems to be a breeding ground for scumbags, though they are found in plenty elsewhere as well.

I like augusta too! It's the perfect size for being able to do things,but not so small you can easily be found. And quiet for the mostpart. Two plus's are you said you don't want a one night thing,well listen to those guys and get a girl in portland,at least you know up here they haven't been around more then likely,and two you could be in lewiston/auburn or fort kent or sanford or in a weekly winter hotel in oob and middle aged, balding and alone. Things could be allot worse. I say keep your eyes peeled and get out and about more at stores,movies,bowling alley and see if you spot her. Maybe attend area events listed in the paper, and if worse come to worse,augusta has a singles support group!someone may be there. I've lived all over the country and never spotted one of those before,it's rather a cool idea,as single people do have other hurtles,struggles as much as coupled or parents do,but they tend to stay in there clicks. So wen you get older if all your friends are in a family of there own and busy often,being the last single person from your buds sucks. So whoever came up with that I think was brillant. There also is sorta harrassment and job issues that single people are more flexable on,but see other co workers with families get a break on..with schedules at work. Well, good luck! There's tons of hot girls out there..and as much as local guys that grew up here and never left say that,it doesn't matter because the fact of the matter is hot girls are all over the country everywhere,you just have to look and be in the right place at the right time.

There's speed dating in portland! Damn! When did that start happening? I'm sooo out of the loop ugg..see leave portland two years and you come back and new constructions up everywhere too ya hardly recognize the place. Well,i saw there was a matchmaker in portland too. Maybe thats something you,(above me)could also try,it's got an office and phone number,want to say I saw it in the phone book,but can't remember now.i tried the number last year spring and it was just a voicemail,with some general info on their service and policys. It was interesting..and to know it was there and exsists.but didnt call again.it didn't sound like it was for me. It seem to cater to the rich.and already been there myself,and know i'm not attracted to overly rich men that are cocky. Or suits.so just wasn't for me.
