Hi! I was talked into placing my profile here on DH.com by a friend. To say the least, I was extremely skeptical. After being "prodded" I went ahead and placed my ad. Now, to be perfectly honest here, I have been a member of DH for about 6-7 mos. In those months, I had the opportunity to talk with a few other members and did meet with one member once, which turned out to be disastrous! After which, admittedly left me thinking what the hell am I doing here? I then had different or no expectations from this site. I looked at it as perhaps just making some new acquaintances/friends, and nothing more.
With that in mind, I sent a wink to "her". She kindly winked back and we began chatting/talking with eack other. By doing this, we found that there was some sort of interest between us and decided to meet. We spent that first date just talking, and walking just about all night long however, in no way did it seem to be all night long. Simply put, it was amazing! There was this connection between us that has been unmatched by anyone ever before. This happened so unexpectedly, especially when I took this site now so lightly. Like out from nowhere, there she is!
It has merely been a month since we first met. It's completely unbelieveable how she has captured my heart cause well, I'm usually hard to hold onto. She is always in my thoughts, my dreams are made of her, and I fully intend on loving her, cherishing her, and to build my life around her!!
Those of you who are reading this and perhaps are shaking their head, I too WAS one of you! It happens, it may take way longer than you want ,but you have to keep the faith. There is someone out there for you! Don't settle, hang in there! Don't give up on this site either as I nearly did! Yes, DateHookup.dating did bring us together, but for some reason I believe if not for ths site, we somehow, someway still would've found each other. Datehookup perhaps speeded up that process. For this, I am sooooo thankful and feel blessed.
