Idy_4evertru,

Yep! I still have one! It's great, too. I really like Tupperware products.

Laughing @ Dtrail!

Yeah, my kids think I am nuts, too. I do not use any of them in the microwave, though. I use them simply for storage.

Please do not throw plastic containers into the garbage.
Teachers at your local school can use them for - storing plastacine, mixing panit, growing plants for Mother's Day, Sorting containers in the primary grades, etc.

Summer day camps like plastic containers for crafts.

The local soup kitchen uses them to send meals home for shut ins, etc.

Or you can use them yourself to start seeds in.

So PLEASE do not throw them in the trash.

Thanks,
Brenda

Brenda, I recycle everything that can be recycled, including those types of containers. I just got in the habit of it many years ago when we lived where they had curbside pickup. Now I have to take it all to the recycling center myself, but I also have to take my household garbage to the same place, so it's not a problem.

I have been told by several that I was OCD for doing that!!! But, I just can't NOT recycle when I think about all the stuff clogging up the landfills, etc.

I have to plead 'guilty' when it comes to saving those big coffee containers. Now that the brand I buy comes in plastic, that's even better. Have tons of them. BUT, my biggest 'pack rat' claim is ..............are you ready? I save used nails and screws.

I also have these huge storage boxes in my garage where each is marked: Electrical, Plumbing, Paint, Wallpapering, Locks/Door Handles, Shelfing Brackets, Cabinet Latches/Knobs. From what I understand I suffer from ADD. But, laugh if you will...........I never have to drop my project and run to the hardware store for one little thing because I probably have it saved.

I love it!

I save the bags that I bring the stuff home in -lol.
Honest

The paper bags are for paper recycling, and the plastic bags are small trash can liners.

And yes - I buy thos tupperware/glad/ziplock containers when they have sets that go on sale for saving small parts all over the garage
