hello everyone reality is setting in.Ryan has 9 days left,yes i'm counting them down,but enjoying everyone of them.I'll try to stay strong when it comes to my Marine,but it's so hard.He has done alot so far with more to come.I'm so very proud of him.When he's leaves I'm going on a vac for about 6 days to Va,to see some of my best friends from DH.I went there in July too,that will help alot,plus I miss them alot.Well hope everyone has a great day.Love Laurie

Well Ryan's leave is over we are headed for the airport in 10 min.I'm very proud of him,but it gets so much harder each time I have to say goodbye.I feel like I'm losing my breath from the crying, which he doesn't see.Don't know how to handle it this time.Thanks to all for your help.Laurie USMC MOM

ICcan't imagine how hard it is for you to say goodbye to your son. My daughters boyfriend left on Saturday and it was a sad day. I was very proud of him and the rest of his unit but at the same time it hurt. They plan to marry when he comes home. I told her everyday she get through is one day closer to him being back. Hang in there and tell him thank you. My prayers are with all the guys,gals and families that are keeping our country safe. GOD BLESS
