Ok i am here to ask for advice. I am the shy resereved type that sits back quietly. I have wondered what it is that i can do to get women to notice me or come to me. I don't really have a problem after the ice and tension is broken and am told not lacking as far as the sexual side. I know its because of some of the past girlfriends that hurt my self esteem and the fact that i always get friend zoned. I am changing that but the appealing part is where i need help. Sometimes i think it is because the fact i'm an adrenaline junky, cowboy, redneck, hillbilly, bullrider, or etc.. I have been told stay away from the bars and try to look into social gatherings or public places. Thing is i don't know of any type of social things around this town that aren't bars. Sure there is an occasional concert or something like mud bogs every down and thing. However some of those things i am entered in so makes that part kinda hard. People have told me try grocery stores or churches but that doesn't feel right to hit on a gal in church. I worry in grocery stores that women will freak out and call the cops or something.

Your profile pics seem kinda serious (the rodeo pic is cool and SHOULD be serious / contemplative / focused, but the others should have you smiling.)
When you read down your lists of interests, there's not a lot on there that most girls know about. -They tend to be more interested in stuff like; music, travel, romance, movies, entertainment, etc.
So imagine yourself as a young lady looking at your own profile.... She might think to herself "He seems pretty serious, and on top of that, we don't seem to share a lot of interests. -We probably wouldn't have that much to talk about, and it might be AWKWARD sitting together on a date searching for things to discuss."
Women (more so than men, I think) hate to be in socially awkward situations and generally don't like to risk getting into one.

You need to your profile to show the fun side of yourself.... -That's who women are motivated to meet & go on dates with: (guys who are approachable, fun, and easy to talk to.)
Cultivate the lighter-hearted and more easy-going aspects of your personality.
Each time you meet a lady or go on a date it should be about playfulness and having a good time. -Don't worry about anything serious or trying to "win her over" (how can she have a good time if she's feeling even the most subtle of pressure?)
One more comment for now, re: your interests.... Yeah, they are definitely "guy" interests, but they don't have to necessarily be intimidating. Contrast these two ways of indicating you're a fisherman on your profile:
1) "I like fishing and try to get out in the water every week during the summer."
**versus**
2) "Never been fishing before? (Or not since you were a little girl?) -Come out with me sometime and I'll show you the ropes! Or if you already happen to be a pretty good "fisher(wo)man", maybe you can teach me a trick or two!
If you're a lady reading online about two men you don't know, which of the two might you be more likely to feel comfortable meeting and hanging out with?

Thanks man i will try and go through my profile and see what i can do. I hate writing about myself and i am kinda serious but a goofball too. I also do love to fish. However i don't want to date a gal that i have nothing in common with though otherwise it is a waste of mine and hers time.
