I don't know how to get over my ex we have kids together and everything. There is a reason I can't. He keeps coming back telling me he loves me and wants to work things out and everything goes great then not. He says it's my fault I don't know how to keep my mouth shut. He tells me it's over then later on we start to talk again. Things work out for a while then it's back to same thing he don't want to be with me. What do I do? I can't put him in the past if he keeps doing this to me. I think he loves me then I don't know. I try to move on but it just hurts.

Steph, you mentioned you had children...you can't keep doing that to them let alone yourself. Young children need stability and that coming and going sh%@ is terribly unstable. If he really loves you like you say he says he does then he would not keep playing games with you. You need to take a stand for the sake of your children and tell him to hit the road and not come back.

I am going through a fairly similar deal with my ex only after a couple of months of trying to work things out I simply said "I can't do this anymore I hope you find happiness but I have to have peace .." I hope you can find the way inside of your heart to get past the pain and loneliness that his absence brings and remember that you are worthy of happiness and peace and your kids DESERVE it. Just my opinion but I would rather be alone and happy then together and go through constant heartbreak.
