I think its time to cancel. One guy tried to run a scam on me. Now i have a date set up to meet with someone who sounded interested. Was looking forward to meeting him in person. He has deleted his profile and hasnt called. Im pretty sure he doesnt plan on showing up! If he wasnt interested then why plan a meet? Very confused!

I know how you feel! I have dated so many idiots that I was about to give up too! Do not do it! I have found somebody really special finally! I found him in another website called Plentyoffish (hope I can write it!LOL) do not stay only in here go there and put up a profile there too, it's free! Don't get down, stick with it! Just do it! And I suggest you to put a nice picture of you in your profile if you can. It's not easy but you'll meet somebody special too if you are persistent. Don't give up!

Most guys have trouble telling you he is pursuing someone else or,he is looking for something other than what he has learned about you It is much easier for them to just stop writing. This sounds cruel but, in the few years that I have been on these sites, I don't blame them. Very often a person like myself will reply and tell the other interested person that I am are no longer interested. It seems that no matter what the reason, the person being rejected often becomes mean and abusive.
So, they are most likely not being cruel but avoiding being harassed by yet another person.
I got many fowl mouthed answers from men who smoked and had not read my profile about smoking.
I did find my guy and was about to delete my profile when I came across your letter.

Very good advice! I just kept changing my profile till it really reflected who I am and he found me. If you want only sex, post a sexy picture, if you want someone to share your interests, post a picture of you doing what you love most.

i met a really nice guy on here we have been talking on the phone and texting as well as sending messages on here. he told me last night he really wanted to meet me we planned on meeting tonight after i got off work he told me to call him when i was off work i called got voicemail on his cell also sent a text he never showee, called back or texted. i was hurt because he really seemed like he was a responsible person and that when he said something his word was good enough apparenylt he changed his mind because i was stood up
