Ah there you go again deflecting. The point is SK is garbage with no intellectually redeeming qualities. And thats okay! if you like him read him, but never ever think you can denigrate or condescend to those that arent interested in his crap.

... then it just behooves me to ask, Minx ~~~~ with that type of apparent dislike for the works of SK, why have you chosen to post in a thread, solely about SK, and not just pass on by and select an author you do appreciate?
BTW ~~ What are the titles of the illustrious literary works which you have had published?

it gets wearisome to have every story have some crippled psychic kid be the hero, it's remarkably repetitive.

Cup are you retarded be honest.
Are you saying that only masters in a particular art are allowed to criticize it?
So by your il-logic you can't comment because you havent written anything either.
you cant complain about food because you arent a master chef.
you can't talk about clothes because you are a fashion designer.
Oh wait i get it! you have nothing to actually rebuke me with so you are trying to dismiss my opinion, but ironically dont unders

I'm reading an early book of Stephen King now. It's called "Thinner," published in 1985. I got the paperback off a rack at the library on a whim.
The book reads easy and good. He's an excellent writer and I can learn, pick up, a lot from him. Not really sure what the book is really going to be about. I will try to report back. I don't intend to read the whole book, not that much interested. But the dude is very good.

... Since Stephen King has SOLD over 350 million books (some of them adapted and made into movies) I believe that Stephen King KNOWS he is a very good writer.

define good.
mcdonalds is popular fast food and jersey shore is a popular show.
Are they good too?

Was it eyes of the Dragon?
Anyway, I love Stephen King. Dean Koontz is my favorite, but Stephen is awesome as well. Bag of bones was the first book I ever read by him and to this day it is probably my favorite with the dark half a close second.

Alone in a secluded cabin, no light but the flickering oil lamps suspended from a wagonwheel fixture, overhead. As the shadows deepened, and a wind began to howl through the trees, the journey through the Pet Semetery was awesome.
