I was reading an article that says more baby girls are being born than boys... I also read that Christains are saying its God doing it... Personally I think its the chemicals from birth control in the water... Its a good article cant find the magazine... Heres the question should science start now on trying to fix this?

Perhaps that female to male ratio has been a constant. Consider that males can fertilize many but the female looses one egg at a time. Perhaps a survival mechanism for the species. Worth investigating.

Since we are talking about birth....One thing that always baffled me is "The sin of conception".
1. If to have intercourse to conceive a child is a sin....please, tell mankind which one is the other -natural- method to put an ovule and a spermatozoa together.

In evolutionary terms the birth of females should be more to compensate them or to create a ballance. This is because a female has reproduction capacity only up to the age of 40 and each time she can reproduce only one offspring most of the time. On the other hand, a male can have reproduction capacity to death and can reproduce more offsprings with more females.

In order to draw ANY conclusions from data, the data must first be factually true...The real facts are that about 105 males are born for every 100 females with very little deviation across 1st and 3rd world countries. China stands out as significantly higher, but that is from selective abortions.

Duchess, it's not a sin if you donate to the church to get married and then only to have more little christians. You aren't suppose to enjoy it. Practice is not allowed. Don't know about you but I'm sol. Can't have any more.
