I think we should keep it closer to I 79 than summersville. but a $300 reservation? I am not paying $300 and do not know who is. we can make our own camping reservations, we might suggest to the camp that we are having a get togather so they can get all of us togather. yes we can donate some for a pavillion or wherever we want to have a cookout. rafting and hang gliding are not very good due to people who do not do those things. maybe volleyball, some horse shoes and things like that. I have a Karaokee system I would bring if people like that.

Well, from the suggestions I received here are the three top choices:
1. Sutton-Flatwoods area; with the availability of bowling, arcades, pool tables. fishing, factory outlet mall,fishing and camping, historic area with exhibits and battlefields.
2. Summersville Lake area; fishing camping, boating, shopping, tourist attractions near-by.
3. Coonskin Park near Charleston; golf, tennis, basketball, volleyball, near the capitol and downtown for malls, resteraunts, shows and the like.
Please email me with your preferences so I can start working on a site to meet. The weekend of May 10th. A covered dish picnic to start the day off at the meeting site then we can decide what to do with the rest of our time.
I am looking forward to meeting you all. I think we can have a wonderful time and meet some new friends in the process. Once the details have been worked out I will post them here and on the meetings forum also.

Do you realize that the weekend you're proposing to have this get-together is Mother's Day weekend? Some people won't be able to attend because of that.
I think it's a great idea for us to meet and greet, but you might want to consider the timing.
