Duchessa I haven't even had a chanch to attend a meeting yet .but when the opertunity arises I'll do that.
up until a few monthes ago I didn't know any other atheist by name.
I am a newbie at organized atheisim .

up until a few monthes ago I didn't know any other atheist by name.
I am a newbie at organized atheisim .
I just got an e/mail from my group's organizer....he is very much aware of the "dominion approach" and the dangers it represents...he suggest active publicizing of the issue....
I may start a thread on the subject.
BTW, if you come to NY I will introduce you to hundred of Atheists....

I think it would be a good idea to start a thread its to bad we can't get the others in too its a common enemy situation.
allthough I believe they have muslims there too and they aren't much better than christians or catholics
not sure when but I am trying to get some free time so I can tour new england on my motorcycle in the distant future.thats the only area I have not seen yet.
maybe next summer .

New England (NY is not part of that area) is lovely on the fall. How long would take you to ride from AR to NE?

I know N.Y. is not part of N.E. but its on the way.As far as time I could be in N.Y.in 2 days or less but I like to take my time and see the countryside and I tend to wander off the beaten path .I have been to every state in the US except maine vermont &rhode island
and many places outside the US.

What scares me the most is the possibility that the believers would use this as "The way to make everybody accept that gwad exists." Not only their ignorance and selfish desire to be "the power" will hurt mankind but, it will be too late when they discover their mistae.

remember, for some -many- people the USA Constitution is based on Christian values / beliefs...so, for those many people to defend "dominerism / dominionism" would be defending the Carta Magna of this nation.

Will we go back to burning heritics again ? Will we loose all schools except for christian schools? will we loose the right to peaceful assymbly? will we loose the rights of a swift and speedy trial by a jury of our peers?
