In some ways, it's about reciprocation.
We get religious types coming in here to proselytize, so we’re returning the favor.

As I said - childish.

In other ways, it’s about letting people know we’re here.
You get your dissenters over in the religion forum that don’t even know
this group exists. So in a twisted sort of way, we’re doing you a favor by drawing
them over here.

B.S. Atheists in the Religion forum know you are here - I've invited them here enough times.

And yes, sometimes it’s just about shaking things up a little.
That answer your question?

It pretty much tells me what I already thought. Despite the monotonous claims of "logic" and "intellect" it's a matter of childishness & unresolved emotion. It's at about the level of rolling someone's house with toilet paper. That's also "shaking things up a little."

How does one manages to post anything over there (Without creating multiple accounts)? I can read the topics but I cannot post anything in the "Other Religions" Forums... I don't even know if there's a "Christians" forums because I don't see it anywhere.

"Mildred, the church gossip, and self-appointed monitor of the church’s morals, kept sticking her nose into other people’s business. Several members did not approve of her activities, but feared her enough to maintain their silence.
She made a mistake, however, when she accused George, a new member, of being an alcoholic after she saw his old pickup parked in front of the town’s only bar one afternoon.
She emphatically told George and several others that everyone seeing it there would know what he was doing. George, a man of few words, stared at her for a moment and just turned and walked away. He didn’t explain, defend, or deny. He said nothing.
Later that evening, George quietly parked his pickup in front of Mildred’s house … and left it there all night. "

Did none of your atheist peers come to your assistance on this? Let me see if I can help you. You can post in the "Religion" forum if you listed your religion as "atheist" on your profile. However, you cannot post in the forum titled "Other Religions" without changing your listed religious belief on your profile. If you can't find the "Religion" forum, I'll try to post a link for you. Hope that helps.

Muldoon, you may want to stop poking fun at people & institutions for the way they look, seeing as how you look a great deal like a frog without your beard.

Bill Maher is pretty much on target. He stands a lot of serious heat for challenging people's delusions. Man's enlightenment and progress isn't easy or fast.

And it happens because those in power use everything at their hands to keep enlightenment and progress from taking place. As Carlin said, the high honchos don't want thinking people.

A intelligent population makes for more difficult prey. Just having the internet alone has toppled how many dictators? True freedom of speech is catching, and the truth distorted by nonesense should not prevail. However given the track record, Mark Twain gives me solace, "The only problem with mankind, is mankind."

I have known this for some time, came as no real big surprise to me.

My 14 yr old daughter was diagnosed with autism and ADHD and they currently have her on the ridiculous anti-depressant 'helper' Abilify. Let me add that she lives back in Ohio with her paternal grandmother...when I had her she was taking a ADHD medicine UNTIL I did a little reading on natural cures, which, ironically does NOT include any pharmicutual drugs at all.

Since I brought up the subject, has anyone else read the Natural Cures books by Kevin Trudeau?

Edited because I am a horrible speller, so I apologize for any spelling errors.

A man was being tailgated by a stressed out woman on a busy boulevard. Suddenly, the light
turned yellow, just in front of him. He did the right thing, stopping at the crosswalk, even though he could have beaten the red light by accelerating through the intersection.

The tailgating woman was furious and honked her horn, screaming in frustration, as she missed her chance to get through the intersection, dropping her cell phone and makeup.

As she was still in mid-rant, she heard a tap on her window and looked up into the face of a very serious police officer. The officer ordered her to exit her car with her hands up.
He took her to the police station where she was searched, fingerprinted, photographed, and
placed in a holding cell. After a couple of hours, a policeman approached the cell and opened the door. She was escorted back to the booking desk where the arresting officer was waiting with her personal effects. He said, "I'm very sorry for this mistake. You see, I pulled up behind your car while you were blowing your horn, flipping off the guy in front of you, and cussing a blue streak at him. I noticed the 'What Would Jesus Do' bumper sticker, the 'Choose Life' license plate holder, the 'Follow Me to Sunday-School' bumper sticker, and the chrome-plated 'Christian fish' emblem on the trunk. Naturally, I assumed you had stolen the car "

Priceless!!!!!!!!

I was brought up Catholic, so Communion is important. I was told it becomes the flesh and blood of Jesus. But how come when I have it, it doesn't taste like flesh and blood? What will happen if I got back in line for seconds? When food get processed and leave the body, it becomes sh1t. So after Holy Communion gets processed and leaves the body will it become Holy Sh1t?
