Hi All! I'm Jean from South Jersey!I am in the portion of the state that the northern Jersey folks would love to split from. We are thought of as farmers. However this is the lovlier portion of the state. We are close to Delaware, Maryland, and Pensylvania. We have a lot of traffic, but a lot less than the northern part of the state. AND many of us here are very astute and there really are no farms anymore!
About me -- I'm a tall single woman, age 60, but will be turning 61 in less than two weeks! I never thought that 60 would be so great. I'm much busier than I was when I was younger and working (or does it just seem that way becasue the days seem shorter. LOL). I've got everything I could want for in life, but would love to meet someone to chat with, eat out with and enjoy life with, on occassion. That is one of the drawbacks of living in a community like this. They just are not here! But I am not desparate, my day will come, and if it doesn't...oh well...

Hello to all you old timers (but young @ heart)
... I lost the love (30 years) of my life (June 2011) and find myself lonely and currently without purpose...attempting to move on.. this process is the most difficult of my life...I am new to this on-line meeting someone social Chat/Program so this introduction is somewhat awkward to me.I am interested in meeting nice people......We need people in our life, so we need to show compassion and try to be understanding of other people's struggles & hardships... Hello everyone! I'm new to this site and just discovered the forums and groups. I still work full time, take care of my house and 2 dogs, so don't spend much spare time on the computer. But like a lot of us here, I'd like to meet a man close to my age (62) who could become my date, my new best friend, confidant, pal, lover, partner in crime...you get the idea! I have a fairly quiet lifestyle but love to get out on the weekends for dinner and a movie or dancing, or to community events, festivals, plays, concerts (new country or classic rock), historical sites, antique shows. I even like to watch football, Nascar, and ESPN, or go for drives just to see where the road leads!
