I used duct tape to make flower pens out of silk flowers to hold the flowers to the pens. I tried using floral tape but it kept coming undone, but NOT THAT DUCT TAPE,that holds like a charm.  Sorry no photos, but I use recycled tissue boxes to hold the bouquets of flower pens.

I used duct tape over foam boards. Made a dispenser box attached to belt and have a lid with Velcro to keep it close with a small opening under the lid for the roll of barcode stickers to pull out. Another one is printer box for portable with hip clip and shoulder strap (not using them) for order picker to bring along strapped to baker racks and pallet jacks as they pick throughout in the warehouse. Another box strapped on shelves to hold plastic small bags for iPod shuffles.

I made a dress form out of box tape once but I know you can also use duck tape. I love the zebra print duck tape that they have out now.

I have made many things from duct tape. I have a large bag that I used when I was a teacher to carry all my stuff in that wouldn't rip and showed the kids how to make various styles of wallets and coin purses that are good to use for Kennywood cause they stay pretty dry not 100% but pretty damn good.

Yes it does as a matter a fact....i made a live sized shark head with a movible head and mouth,i used cardboard and shaped it pretty much with duct tape.......then carpet foam and vinal for the skin and plastic for the teeth but yeah duck tape can be used for many things,even making a fake "JAWS" shark head! Peace.

here's one for the books!
take a square piece of duct tape, and put that over a wart.
this will "suffocate" the wart, and it will "die", and fall off.
it works!!

If any of you watch "Mythbusters" on the Discovery Channel there were a couple of episodes about some extreme things they did with duct tape. Like making a 100' long suspension bridge entirely out of tape that both could walk on, Replacing the torn-off skin of an ultra-light aircraft and flying it, etc.

Good duct tape (3M or equivalent) is great, the stuff at the dollar store, not so much. I've used it all my life for different things. I've got a few books on it (mostly fun, but some useful info). I love Red Green and he made a career out of it pretty much. Duct Tape: The Handymans Secret Weapon.

One year our Christmas tree refused to remain standing. Went to the garage, no rope (I need to add I was incredibly ill and couldn't drive, but the tree had to be stabilized priorities yanno)
Found the duct tape pulled out a long length and spun it while still on the roll so sticky side would made a "rope", cut it off, grabbed the staple gun and stapled that sucker to the wall. I went to bed LOL
The tree stayed up until it was time to come down! LOL (my son is 17 and has never forgotten that Christmas from his younger days)

I knew a kid in high school who used duct tape to attach the fender on his Ford Falcon. He would retape once in awhile, but he drove that car all through high school, duct tape and fender intact.

My cousin and her friends made little dresses with the duct tape the went as ipods it was really cleaver they had a screen with song name on it and even an apple symbol on it. It was an awesome halloween costume

My granddaughters are into the friendship bracelet craze, and they are making duct tape bracelets in all colors and patterns. Dollar Store and WalMart are making a fortune on duct tape sales.
