I use to believe that sentence, but as the years have passed I've have begun to question myself. Especially when all I do is sit behind my computer and punch the keyboard each night alone. I use to believe it so much that I once wrote a poem of it. Now I really wonder.
One Special Someone (Written Sept. 2006)
My heart is not whole.
My words have no meaning.
As I scream in the crowds
No one hears me grieving.
As I search and I search for that one special
someone.
My soul mate, my true love, where are you my
loved one.
I begin to believe it is no more than a
dream.
And all of a sudden that one, special
someone comes and saves me.
My heart is now whole.
My words now have meaning.
As I scream in the crowd
They all hear me gleaming.
Am I the only one that is thinking like this or are there others.

I think there is for sure atleast one person that you can fall in love with, but i don't think you can expect that person to fall in your lap, you have to make the effort to find them and if you believe in God pray, thats when i met someone i am totally in love with...

I think personally there is a soul mate for us out there because someone put us on earth to find someone we can connect with and truly be happy with but I also don't think we have just one soul mate because I have been married before and I thought he was my soul mate and it turned out not to be that way.
