Unfortunately, those in charge of deciding who teaches and who doesn't could care less about the children's best interest. Weather is in a public school setting or in one such as the one presented in the video the truth is the same: They want the kids to grow up to be automatons. Thinking, reasoning, making educated decisions is not part of the powers that be agenda for our kids.

Back in the days when I had cable TV and I spent a lot of time on the SciFi channel. My VCR went out and there was something on The SciFi channel I wanted to record. I asked a guy I worked with (A hard Corps Christian) if he could record it for me. He said he would and I gave him an empty tape, Come Monday he gave me the empty tape back and said he didn't record it. I asked why. He said he didn't want his children seeing things about UFO's. I guess he didn't want his children to see reality? Better to keep them locked up in religious nonsense.

I remember that father who -proudly- stated to me: "No bad TV influence in my home; my children are under my eyes 24 x 7."...and his 15 y/o daughter was four months pregnant at the moment this "conversation" took place.

I can remember a few years back Oral Roberts telling his congregation that "God told him he needed a million dollars" or some other amount. So the question here is: Why would "God" need a million bucks? What is this all powerful being that can create worlds going to do with a million bucks???

I'd like to know, are we suppose to use 9 or 10 year old soldiers. They do in Africa, so does that make it right. Muslem extremests start training their kids young so christians have to do likewise. What happened to two wrongs don't make it right. Why can't we accept differences in opinion and get along.

I totally agree. I just wonder why it matters so much to them if I believe or not. I'm not proficient in the bible, but I don't think there's anything in there about getting points for converting people.
I loved my mother and miss her dearly but she waa very religious and used to pray for ex-catholics to return to the flock. Just never understood it.

The "Cristo Redentor" (on top of the Corcovado mountain) is one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.

Actually, there are at least two. Besides the statue in Rio De Janeiro, there is another Christ statue in Cali, Colombia. It is called, "Cristo Rey".
