Sorry For posting this so late after yours Mr.bass.I am one not to hold some thing over ones head,or get to upset at lifes curves.If I was to get mad the dark side would have its very way.To burn my energy on useless anger is what they would want me to do.And if you hold on to quilt about adding your own answer,the dark side wins the round against you.You,I believe,at the time, thought you were doing Jesus a favor and standing up for Paul.On the other hand ,If you truly did it to get even with me, than they won from the moment you acted on the thought.But ether way This is a new day,the past is just that the past.If you learned something from it than it was a good thing.I have learned and think it was a good day. thanks Mr Bass

I do not claim to know a whole lot but I have read the whole bible many times and know what it says. It left me wanting because for one thing every religion from Mormons to Jehovah's Witness' and all the others in between, believe different things and they can all take the same bible and 'prove' what they believe is true. If the bible is absolute truth how can it say so many contradicting things?
Truth does not change from reader to reader. I do not know much about the creator that is why I am on a knowledge trek to understand what so far has not been understandable.

I can't vow for the new testament,however I can not think of any religion that can proof any of there beliefs.A prescher is there to sell the congregation his believes and theoretical thoughts,for if his congrgation does not grow or at least thrive,his church will parish.Thats why there is so much contradiction in religious circles.that is my belief.So if I believe something to be true in my heart than it is true to me.And it's very hard to dis proof whats believed in my heart.

By choosing Paul God proved his power. paul being an enemy to jesus saw somthing that totaly changed him ,If paul could change then anyone can change.

IF YOU ACTUALLY READ THE BIBLE YOU WOULD NOT BE ASKING THESE QUESTIONS. SAUL/PAUL WAS WARRING AGAINST THE CHRISTIANS, AS HE THOUGHT THEY WERE HERETICS AND N=MOCKING HIS FAITH. ON THE ROAD TO DAMASCUS JESUS SHOWED HIMSELF TO SAUL. WHY ARE YOU PERSECUTING ME.
HE WAS BLINDED AND SENT ON TO SEE A CERTAIN MAN AND REVEAL HIMSELF. SAUL PROVED HIMSELF AND HE BECAME A VERY ZEALOT TEACHER AND LEADER. HEIS THE REASON MOST OF THE WORLD HAS THE CHRISTIAN FAITH. YOU NEED TO STUDY THE CULTURE OF THE TIME AND NOT COMPARE WHAT WE DO TODAY TO WHAT THEY DID BACK THEN.
IF YOU RESPECT EACH OTHER AND FOLLOW GODS WILL YOU WILL HAVE A GREAT MARRIAGE. MOST PEOPLE WHO ADHERE TO THAT SCRIPTURE ARE USUALLY NOT REAL CHRISTIANS AND GIVE LIGHT TO PEOPLE WHO DO NOT KNOW ENOUGH ABOUT THE BIBLE AND DO NOT WANT TO STUDY BUT MAKE STUPID QUESTIONS SUCH AS THESE.

To "slolrner"...we were all given free will...that means the ability to chose for ourselves...whether we will or will not follow HIS Word...not to decide and interpret The Word as we see fit. In the Lords Prayer..it is..."Thy Kingdom come, THY will be done"...(NOT our will be done)...meaning we are praying that Our Lords will...his orders, ways, wishes, desires...will be done...on earth as it is in Heaven...we have to be very careful in how we read and interpret HIS Word...I take it into my heart very personally...and "feel" it deep down...and let it speak to me...I care little what a specific church has to say or what their particular "rules" are...I care about how I feel when I read the Word and how it speaks to me. I care not to debate the Word...just to revel in it and receive all of its blessings, and thank Our Saviour for his sacrifice for me. Amen.
